You want to know about the future, right? The recruiting process has really accelerated and Scout has already ranked prospects in the 2014 and 2015 classes, so here is a look at some top prospects to watch in 2016...

On Tuesday, Scout released a national 'Watch List for 2016 and it is just a list of prospects to keep an eye on, not official rankings.

Here are 30 prospects out of the Southeast to watch in the 2016 class:

Ed Alexander, DT, 6-2, 290, Hammond (La.) St. Thomas Aquinas
Big body in the middle with agility and foot quickness. Not a big name yet, but will be. Florida has offered.

Ervin Barrett, QB, 6-2/190, Evans High, Orlando, Fla.
What separates Barrett from his peers is his overall athleticism. He has scary speed. South Carolina and Auburn have offered.

Sam Bruce, WR, 5-8, 165, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School
Bruce is an electric slot receiver who is incredibly dangerous with the ball in his hands. Has close to 20 offers with FSU being the latest to pull the trigger.

Ben Cleveland, OT, 6-5, 320, Toccoa (Ga.) Stephens County
You don’t see many like Cleveland at this age. He is put together like a collegiate offensive tackle with very little, if any body fat. He is very strong, he has been timed in the 40 yard dash at 5.0 seconds, and many schools offered his freshman year.

Justin Conner, RB, 5-9, 182, Sardis (Miss.) North Panola
Conner ran sub-4.5 in the 40 this spring and summer and earned a pair of early SEC offers. Could play on either side of the ball in college. Committed to Ole Miss/

Nate Craig, WR, 6-3, 205, Dade City (Fla.) Pascoe
Craig is a big wide receiver who runs like a deer, and is a true home run threat. His offers include Florida, Florida State and Ohio State, as well as many others.

Octavious Cooley, WR , 6-4, 230, Laurel (Miss.) R.H. Watkins High
Cooley plays the X receiver position in high school, but projects as a tight end. Holds offers from Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Southern Miss.

Stephen Davis Jr., S, 6-2, 215, Irmo (S.C.) Dutch Fork
Son of former Auburn and NFL star Stephen Davis and he can do it all on the football field. His home will likely be at safety or outside linebacker on the next level. He can hit and run. Offers from all over ACC and SEC country.

Bryan Edwards, WR, 6-3, 180, Conway (S.C.) High
May be the top wide receiver in the Palmetto State right now as a sophomore. He has great size, he is strong, he has good speed, and he plucks the ball out of the air with strong hands. Clemson, Florida, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech have offered.
Feleipe Franks, QB, 6-4, 190, Crawfordville (Fla.)Wakulla
Frank’s your big, strapping pro-style signal caller with a big arm and a very bright future. He can lock in on his receiver and he is a streaky passer, but he has so much upside. Florida and Clemson offered.

Xavier Gaines, QB, 6-3, 207, Frostproof (Fla.)
Gaines is big and athletic quarterback with an outstanding arm and athletic ability. Florida State, Florida, Miami and Ohio State have offered.

Keith Gavin, WR, 6-3,205, Crawfordville (Fla.) Wakulla
Gavin’s already a big receiver. This is a young man with deceptive speed and athletic ability. Florida, Florida State and Clemson offered.

Keon Howard, QB, 6-2,205, Laurel (Miss.)
Howard is a dual-threat quarterback, but he always looks to use his strong arm first. He has already been offered by Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Southern Miss.

Keion Joyner, OLB, 6-4, 205, Havelock (N.C.) High
The young man exploded onto the scene early this season. He plays all over the field with speed. He chases the ball well, he plays violent, and he has great range. He is quickly becoming a national recruit.

Khalil Ladler, CB, 5-10, 165, Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson
A very physical defensive back who can play corner or safety. He is a solid tackler, he reacts to the ball in the air, and he has offers from schools like Alabama, Florida State, and LSU among others.

Dexter Lawrence, DT, 6-5, 260, Wake Forest (N.C.) Rolesville
Not many look better than Lawrence. He has a great frame, long arms, good athleticism, and he will be a national recruit. Arkansas, Clemson, North Carolina, North Carolina State, and South Carolina offered.

Chauncey Manac, DE, 6-3, 226, Homerville (Ga.) Clinch County
Strong on the edge and not only can he rush the passer, but he can contain the edge. He is athletic, he will only get bigger, and he has offers from Clemson, Florida, Florida State, and Tennessee.

David Marshall, DT, 6-4, 270, Thomaston (Ga.) Upson Lee
No offers yet, but drawing interest from Alabama, Georgia, and a few others. Big interior lineman with good feet and strength. He has big-time potential.

Avery McCall, QB, 6-0, 180, Dillon (S.C.) High
May not have ideal size, but he is a gamer with many strengths. He surveys the field well, he has great pocket presence, he has mobility, and he has a live arm. He is a winner, he can make any throw, and he will be one of the best at his position.

Dionte Mullins, WR, 6-0, 165, Miami Gulliver Prep
Mullins is a guy that has been a football sensation ever since he first stepped out on the football field in Pop Warner. He had a super freshman season, showcasing his pure athleticism and outstanding ball skills.

Isaac Nauta, TE, 6-4, 238, Buford (Ga.) High
Big tight end who can block and catch. Good speed, strong hands, and easy early offer. Has more than a dozen offers.

Shaquille Quarterman, ILB, 6-2, 242, Orange Park (Fla.) Oakleaf
This is a sophomore that already has a grown man’s body with his size. He moves well laterally, he is an attacking linebacker, and h has offers from Tennessee, Louisville and others.

Jawon Pass, QB, 6-5, 200, Columbus (Ga.) Carver
Pass is a big quarterback with a live arm and good mobility. He has already picked up offers from Clemson, Mississippi State, and North Carolina. He can hurt defenses with his arm and legs.

Darnell Salomon, WR, 6-3, 190, Hialeah (Fla.) Champagnat Catholic
Smooth wide receiver who glides across the field. He shined at LSU’s camp in the summer and was offered on the spot. Expect many others to follow suit. He catches the ball well, he is long, and he is athletic.

Stephen Sullivan, WR, 6-6, 210, Donaldsonville (La.)
Had 69 receptions as a freshman and unlimited potential. He is a big receiver now, but could project as a tight end on the next level. He is athletic, wins jump-ball battles, and moves well down the field.

Mark Walton, RB, 5-10, 185, Miami Booker T. Washington
As a freshman for state champion Booker T. Washington, he rushed for almost 500 yards and 11 touchdowns. Miami and Florida State have offered. He is a very explosive back.

Antonio Williams, RB, 5-11, 195, New London (N.C.) North Stanly
A true running back with a good blend of power and speed. He gets skinny in tight places, he has good balance, and a number of schools have offered including Clemson, Georgia, and North Carolina.

Devin White, RB, 6-2, 223, Springhill (La.) North Webster
Could play running back or linebacker on the next level. He has been talked about in North Louisiana for years and his name is starting to spread across the country. Alabama and LSU have offered and that says a lot.

Jordan Woods, DE, 6-3.5/230, Ocala (Fla.) Trinity Catholic
Already at 230 pounds, Woods is established as one of the top defensive linemen in central Florida regardless of age or class affiliation.

Michael Clark, Mike Coppage, John Garcia, Jr., Jamie Newberg, Yancy Porter, and Steve Robertson contributed to this feature.
