Wesley Green is no longer a South Carolina Gamecock.
On Sunday, Green decided to open his recruitment back up and to decommit from South Carolina. There are no hard feelings and the Gamecocks are still a school he is considering.
"I just feel I jumped the gun a little too quick when I committed," Green said. "I would like to see other options and take a little more time, so I am no longer committed to anyone."
When the four-star out of Lithonia (Ga.) M.L.K. committed to Carolina, he chose it over schools like Clemson, Georgia, and Tennessee.
A couple of those schools are currently showing him a lot of interest and he will be on one of their campuses this weekend.
"Georgia, Tennessee, and Ole Miss have been recruiting me hard lately. I am going to look at all of my options now, so everyone has my attention.
"I will be at Georgia Saturday for the LSU game to see what is going on there. I have been there before, I know I like Georgia, and it will be cool to get back."
His visit to Athens will be unofficial and he has not started thinking about official visits yet.
The No. 21 corner in the country is taking things slow and he will evaluate things a little deeper this time before making his final decision.
