Tallahassee (Fla.) Godby High School quarterback J.T. Bradwell received his seventh scholarship offer last night. Bradwell learned on Monday night that Bethune-Cookman has a scholarship reserved for him. The 6-foot-2 and 200-pound signal caller learned of the offer from Bethune offensive line coach John Powers.

"He called me last night while he was at dinner with his family," said Bradwell of his phone conversation with Coach Powers. "It means a lot to know Coach Powers was thinking about me while he was with his family. That shows me he really wants me to be a part of the team! He wants me to visit during homecoming weekend so I can get a taste for the environment."

The senior is off to another successful season after leading his team to the 5-A state championship and a 15-1 record last year as a junior. Through five games this season Bradwell has thrown for 833 yards while completing 47 of 87 attempts with 11 touchdowns and two interceptions. He has also been successful running the ball. The productive team leader has gained 263 yards rushing on 43 carries including two scores.

Bradwell also has scholarship offers from Florida Atlantic, Georgia State, Liberty, Samford, South Dakota and Troy. He has also heard from Arkansas State, East Carolina, FIU, Kentucky, Northern Illinois and Vanderbilt.
