Minor down to six
Raymon Minor had a big game for Benedictine on Saturday. The four-star outside linebacker was excited about the victory. "It was a good game," said the 6-foot-3, 215-pound Minor. "We fought the whole time. It's a rivalry game and we knew we had to come out and win." As for his recruitment, Minor has trimmed his list to six schools and already knows of four official visits. "I know I'm going to Clemson, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Miami and I don't know my fifth visit yet," he said. "I'm also considering West Virginia and Virginia Tech. They're the schools that shown the most interest in me." Minor said all six schools are even at this time and he plans to take his official visits after the season. "I haven't set any dates for my visits, but I'm going to take them after the season because we play on Saturdays. He said he is looking for certain things when he takes his trips. "I'm looking for a good program, a school that has strong academics and a good coaching staff that will make me a better player," he said. Minor is in no hurry to make his decision. "I'm going to make my decision after the season," Minor said. "I'm definitely going to commit before signing day. It's going to come down to my relationship with coaches and how I get along with the team." Benedictine is 2-3 and continues their season this Friday on the road against Fairfax (Va.) Paul VI at 7 p.m.
