FOX Sports Next has some of the best performances in the state of Kentucky from this past weekend. Several players put on outstanding performances for their school in victory and defeat.
Brenan Kuntz – QB – Simon Kenton – Sr.: Brenan Kuntz had an efficient performance completing 17 of 19 passes for 285 yards and four touchdowns.
Devin Hayes – QB – Bowling Green High – Sr.: In only one half of action, Devin Hayes threw for 260 yards and five touchdowns.
Michael Nero – RB – DuPont Manual – Jr.: Michael Nero carried the ball 26 times for 240 yards and a touchdown Friday night.
Drew Barker – QB – Conner High – Sr.: Drew Barker threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns Friday night. He also carried the ball for another touchdown.
Reggie Bonnafon – QB – Trinity High – Sr.: Bonnafon proved to be a dual threat, rushing for 179 yards and three touchdowns. He also threw for another 156 yards.
Zyaire Hughes – QB – McCracken County High – Soph.: The Mustangs signal caller had three touchdowns through the air along with 286 yards.
Elijah Bell – RB – Henry Clay High – Sr.: Bell was a work-horse rushing 31 times for 247 yards and three touchdowns for the Blue Devils.
Devin Taylor – RB – West Jessamine High – Sr.: Devin Taylor rushed for 276 yards and two touchdowns on 39 carries.
Cam Cheuvront – WR – Somerset High – Sr.: Cam Cheuvront played with a broken thumb and still picked up 176 yards receiving on six catches and score two touchdowns.
R.J. Taylor – WR – Tates Creek – Sr.: Taylor played on both sides of the ball, picking up 7 catches for 123 yards and two touchdowns. He returned a kick for 60 yards and also played at defensive back.
Elijah Sindelar – QB – Caldwell County – Jr.: Elijah Sindelar threw for 190 yards and three touchdowns. He added and additional 144 yards rushing and two more scores.
