Rank (Last)

Team (Record) City, ST

1 (1)
Booker T Washington Logo
Washington (6-0) Miami, FL

It turns out that Booker T. Washington travels well. The Tornadoes made the cross-country flight to take on Bishop Gorman, one of the nation's best programs. This isn't Bishop Gorman's best team, but the Gaels still put up a good fight and made the game interesting. But Washington is on a different level this year.

Last: Def Bishop Gorman 28-12
Next: 10/12 Northwestern (3-2)
2 (2)
Allen Logo
Allen (5-0) Allen, TX

Allen has been as impressive as anyone this season, and they enjoyed a well earned week off before taking on a good Plano East team. Allen has already beaten more impressive teams, but they can't afford to look past Plano East this week.

Last: Idle
Next: 10/11 Plano East (4-1)
3 (3)
Miami Central Logo
Miami Central (4-1) Miami, FL

Miami Central had the week off to prepare for a good Homestead team, and the Rockets took care of business in South Florida. This week is a deceptively good 2-4 Norland squad, but Central should still win comfortably.

Last: Def Homestead 37-20
Next
: 10/11 Norland (2-4)
4 (4)
DeSoto Logo
DeSoto (5-0) De Soto, TX

DeSoto has rolled through its opponents this year, and the Eagles have played a good schedule. Mansfield Timberview is a tough team, and DeSoto will need to retain its focus in the battle of undefeateds.

Last: Idle
Next: 10/11 Mansfield Timberview (5-0)
5 (5)
Paramus Catholic (4-0) Paramus, NJ

Paramus Catholic had the week off to enjoy its impressive win over St. Ignatius. The Paladins take on one of Delaware's top teams this week, but Delaware football isn't on the same level as New Jersey. This game won't be close.

Last: Idle
Next: 10/12 St. Mark's (Del.) (4-1)
6 (6)
De La Salle Logo
De La Salle (6-0) Concord, CA

De La Salle has made a habit of coming to Southern California and winning big over some very good teams. The Spartans jumped on an excellent Servite team 28-0 before coasting to a 35-10 win. This team is a well oiled machine.

Last: Def Servite 35-10
Next: Bye
7 (7)
St. Joseph Regional (4-0) Montvale, NJ

St. Joseph Regional won a workman-like game over Wayne Hills. The 35-0 victory was convincing without being humilating.

Last: Def Wayne Hills 35-0
Next: Bye
8 (8)
Saint John Bosco Logo
St. John Bosco (5-0) Bellflower, CA

St. John Bosco had been without its 5-Star junior quarterback Josh Rosen for a good portion of the season, but Rosen was back this week. It showed. The Braves hung a whopping 75 on Crenshaw. The compeition steps it up a few notches this week against a dangerous Santa Margarita squad.

Last: Def Crenshaw 75-35
Next: 10/11 Santa Margarita (3-2)

9 (9)
Manatee logo
Manatee (6-0) Bradenton, FL

The running total for the last three weeks is 175-7. Palmetto should put up a better fight this week, but won't be enough to keep us from looking ahead to the 10/25 matchup with University.

Last: Def Riverview 47-0
Next
: 10/11 @ Palmetto (3-2)
10 (10)
Katy Logo
Katy (5-0) Katy, TX

Katy was off last week, and they'll get ample opportunity to play a lot of young players this week against Katy Taylor in a game that will get ugly.

Last: Idle
Next: 10/11 @ Katy Taylor (1-4)
11 (11)
Colerain (6-0) Cincinnati, OH

Princeton put up a good fight against the mighty Cardinals. Sycamore is a quality opponent that Colerain will need four quarters against.

Last: Def Princeton 56-38
Next: 10/11 Sycamore (5-1)
12 (12)
University School Logo Ft. Lauderdale
University (7-0) Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Can we just have Manatee and University play and get on with it? University has outscored its last three opponents 170-0. If you're keeping score at home, that's a combined three game stretch for Manatee and University at 345-7. No one can be having fun in these games.

Last: Def North Broward Prep 63-0 (170-0)
Next: Bye
13 (13)
Hoover Logo
Hoover (6-0) Hoover, AL

Bessemer City entered last week undefeated against Hoover, but the Bucs play a different level of football. Hillcrest brings a 4-2 record into this week's game, but Hoover should win comfortably.

Last: Def Bessemer City 48-7
Next
: 10/11 Hillcrest (4-2)
14 (14)

Northwestern (6-0) Rock Hill, SC

South Pointe was supposed to be a challenge for Northwestern, but the game wasn't close. This week against Clover will be even worse.

Last: Def South Pointe 27-0
Next: 10/11 Clover (0-6)
15 (15)
Byrnes (5-1) Duncan, SC

Byrnes had one of the more impressive showings of last week. Spartanburg came into the game undefeated, and they left humbled. Riverside has no illusions of winning this week. They'll be happy if everyone stays healthy.

Last: Def Def Spartanburg 35-3
Next: 10/11 @ Riverside (0-6)
16 (16)
  Bellevue Logo
Bellevue (5-0) Bellevue, WA

Bellevue's uninspiring schedule hits a low point this week. Interlake has been outscored 204-17. Bellevue can name its score this week.

Last: Def Juanita 38-14
Next: 10/11 Interlake (0-5)
17 (17)
Oscar Smith (5-0) Chesapeake, VA

Oscar Smith has had back to back blowout wins. Nansemond River will make it three in a row.

Last: Def Deep Creek 70-6
Next: 10/11 @ Nansemond River (2-3)
18 (18)
North Gwinnett (5-0) Suwanee, GA

North Gwinnett tuned up for what should be a good game with Mill Creek this week by beating on Duluth in convincing fashion.

Last: Def Duluth 52-21
Next: 10/11 Mill Creek (4-2)

19 (19)

Lamar (4-0) Houston, TX

Westside enters this game against Lamar with a sparkling 5-1 record. Don't let that fool you. This one won't be close.

Last: Idle
Next: 10/11 @ Westside (5-1)
20 (20)
Brother Rice (6-0) Bloomfield Hills, MI

Brother Rice took care of another quality opponent last week, soundly defeating St. Mary's Prep. This week should be a little easier against the visitors from Canade.

Last: Def St. Mary's Prep 31-14
Next: 10/12 Canada Prep (1-2)
21 (21)
Mater Dei (5-0) Santa Ana, CA

Mater Dei took the week off to ready itself for league play. Servite is coming off of a big loss to De La Salle and gets Mater Dei this week. Servite has the toughest schedule in the country.

Last: Idle
Next: 10/11 Servite (3-2)
22 (22)
Miramar (5-0) Miramar, FL

Miramar hasn't let off the gas since beating Aquinas earlier this year including another convincing victory last week. The Patriots should put up another big number this week.

Last:  Def McArthur 56-0
Next: 10/11 @ Everglades (3-3)

23 (23)
Mountain Pointe (6-0) Phoenix, AZ

Mountain Pointe is rolling through its competition in Arizona with another convincing win last week over Desert Vista. Brophy Prep is usually a tough game, but this isn't one of their better teams.

Last: Def Desert Vista 62-14
Next: 10/11 Brophy Prep (2-4)
24 (24)

Aquinas (4-1) Fort Lauderdale, FL

Aquinas is lighting up the scoreboard in the easy part of their schedule. The Raiders will be busy lighting up the scoreboard again on Friday.

Last: Def South Broward 66-0
Next: 10/11 @ Northeast (1-4)
25 (25)
Archbishop Moeller (6-0) Cincinnati, OH

Moeller is in the heart of the most difficult part of their schedule. The Crusaders survived La Salle last week, and they'll be challenged again this week by Elder.

Last: Def La Salle 31-28
Next: 10/5 @ Elder (5-1)
26 (37)
Karr (3-1) New Orleans, LA

It's an interesting dynamic in Louisiana. Each of the top three teams has beaten eachother and each has a claim to being ranked ahead of the other. I still think Karr is the top team, that Curtis jumped on early. Would St. Augustine have beaten Curtis if Curtis had the two weeks to prepare? The most convincing win of the three, Karr over St. Augustine, was still a close game.

Last: Def Cox 49-18
Next: 10/11 @ O. Perry Walker (5-0-1)
27 (27)
Serra (5-0) Gardena, CA

Serra survived some close calls early in the season and shouldn't have a lot of trouble with Harvard-Westlake this week. Most people are pointing towards next week's game against Rival

Last: Idle
Next: 10/11 @ Harvard-Westlake (4-1)
28 (26)
John Curtis Christian Logo
John Curtis (4-2) River Ridge, LA

John Curtis has played some of the best games in the entire country. After a thrilling come from behind victory against Karr two weeks ago, the Patriots fell to St. Augustine. The schedule eases up now, and St. Charles Catholic may feel like a walk in the park.

Last: Lost to St. Augustine 29-28
Next: 10/11 St. Charles Catholic (3-2)
29 (28)
McEachern (6-0) Powder Springs, GA

Campbell gave McEachern a good game last week, but the real test comes this week against a solid North Cobb team.
Last: Def Campbell 48-35
Next: 10/18 @ North Cobb (4-1)
30 (29)
Punahou (7-0) Honolulu, HI

St. Louis scored as many points on Punahou as the rest of the Buff 'n Blue's schedule combined, but in the end, Punahou came through with the victory. Punahou should face no such trouble this week.

Last: Def  St. Louis 35-32
Next: 10/11 Pac-Five (1-6)
31 (31)
Coppell (3-1) Coppell, TX

Coppell had the week off to put their loss to Allen behind them, and they'll need to be sharp this week because Hebron can play with the Cowboys.

Last: Idle
Next: 10/11 Hebron (3-2)
32 (32)

Aledo (5-0) Aledo, TX

Aledo is putting up Techmo Bowl scores on teams right no. The Tigers broke 80 two weeks ago, almost did this week and could hang 100 on poor Wyatt on Friday.

Last: Def South Hills 77-16
Next: 10/11 @ Wyatt (1-4)

33 (34)

Saint Augustine (3-1) New Orleans, LA

St. Augustine had the week off to get ready for No. 26 Curtis, and they put the time to good use with a thrilling one point win. The Big 3 in Louisiana split their games with Curtis beating Karr, St. Augustine beating Curtis, and Karr beating St. Augustine. There shouldn't be much drama this week against Brother Martin.

Last: Def No. 26 John Curtis Christian 29-28
Next: 10/12 Brother Martin (3-3)
34 (33)
Ensworth Logo
Ensworth (6-0) Nashville, TN

Ensworth played a solid opponent last week and put up a double digit victory. Double digits won't be in doubt this week as Ensworth will get back to clobbering their overmatched schedule.

Last: Def Montgomery Bell Academy 35-21
Next: 10/11 Giles County (6-1)
35 (35)

Folsom (5-0) Folsom, CA

Folsom has gotten the year off to a great start and they face a good Oak Ridge team this week who has yet to lose a game.

Last: Idle
Next: 10/11 Oak Ridge (5-0)
36 (36)

St. Edward (5-0) Lakewood, OH

St. Edward is off this week in preparation of their showdown with St. Ignatius in two weeks.

Last: Def Cardinal Mooney 41-14

Next: 10/11 @ Rincon (0-6)
38 (38)

DeMatha (6-1) Hyattsville, MD

DeMatha is facing a 5-1 Bishop McNamara team this week, and while the records are close, the game won't be. Dematha. Big.

Last: Def Bishop O'Connell 49-14
Next
: 10/12 @ Bishop McNamara (5-1)
39 (39)
St. Ignatius Logo
St. Ignatius (4-2) Cleveland, OH

St. Ignatius held on to its spot in the FOX Top 50 with a solid win over a good Lawrence Central team. The Tigers will have their hands full again this week against the football academy of Eastern Christian in Maryland before taking on St. Edward in two weeks.

Last: Def Lawrence Central (Ind.) 24-21
Next
: 10/12 Eastern Christian Academy (Md.) (5-1)
40 (40)
Apopka (6-1) Apopka, FL

Apopka had been blowing out inferior competition, but they still took care of a good West Orange team last week. The Blue Darters appear to be back on track after an early loss to Byrnes and a scary injury to their quarterback.

Last: Def West Orange 52-35
Next: Idle
41 (41)
Mission Viejo (6-0) Mission Viejo, CA

Mission Viejo's regular season is all but over as far as drama is concerned. The Diablos won't get tested again until the playoffs.

Last: Def Redlands East Valley 47-21
Next
: 10/11 San Clemente (2-4)
42 (43)
Southlake Carroll Logo
Carroll (3-1) Southlake, TX

Carroll is another team blowing out regional foes, and this week won't be any different against Richland.

Last: Def Timber Creek 77-6
Next
: 10/11 @ Richland (2-3)
43 (44)

Ocean Lakes (4-0) Virginia Beach, VA

Cox might put up a better fight for Ocean Lakes this week, but the game still shouldn't be in doubt.

Last: Def Kempsville 70-7
Next: 10/11 Cox (4-1)
44 (46)

Sandy Creek (4-0-1) Sandy Creek, GA

It wasn't long ago that Shaw was a power in Georgia. But times have changed and Sandy Creek will crush shaw this week.

Last: Def Troup County 21-0
Next: 10/11 @ Shaw (2-3)
45 (47)
Jenks (5-0) Jenks, OK

Maybe the most impressive performance of the week goes to Jenks. Sapulpa was supposed to at least slow down Jenks. They didn't. Broken Arros should be a much better game this week.

Last: Def Sapulpa 59-7
Next: 10/11 Broken Arrow (4-1)
46 (48)
Mentor Football Logo
Mentor (5-1) Mentor, OH

Mentor got back on track on defense after fiving up 43 points two weeks ago in a solid 40+ point win over Shaker Heights. Brunswick isn't a bad team, but Mentor should handle them.

Last: Def Shaker Heights 56-14
Next: 10/11 Brunswick (4-2)

47 (50)

Lowell (6-0) Lowell, MI

Lowell came off an easy game and was almost upended by a good East Grand Rapids squad. Lowell should get an easier win this week over Caledonia.

Last: Def East Grand Rapids 42-39
Next: 10/11 Caledonia (5-1)
48 (NR)

Bingham () South Jordan, UT

After Bingham pulled off a close game against Colorado power Valor Christian, the Miners have been on a roll including last week's 38-27 victory over Brighton. Jordan will look to salvage a season against Bingham this week.

Last: Def Brighton 38-27
Next: 10/11 @ Jordan (4-3)
49 (NR)

Mallard Creek (6-0) Charlotte, NC

Mallard Creek is the class of North Carolina this year. After beating Butler at the beginning of the season, the Mavericks have been running roughshod over their opposition including a 69-0 win over Hopewll last week. Mallard Creek's stay in the Top 50 could be a short one though after facing Hough this week.

Last: Def Hopewell 69-0
Next: 10/11 Hough (6-0)
50 (NR)

Oak Grove (6-0) Hattiesburg, MS
