FOX Sports Next has some of the best performances in the state of Kentucky from this past weekend. Several players put on outstanding performances for their school in victory and defeat.
Jacob Mayes – LB – Murray High – Sr.: Jacob Mayes was a mainstay for the Murray defense, picking up 13 tackles, four for loss, one sack, one forced fumble and fumble recovery.
Donald Brooks – RB – Trinity – Jr.: Donald Brooks led Trinity to victory over their top rival, St. Xavier with 23 carries, 114 yards and two touchdowns.
Joseph Hawkins – DE – Franklin-Simpson – Sr.: Joseph Hawkins was big for his defense with 11 tackles, six for loss and one forced fumble this weekend.
Robert Jones – QB – Valley High – Sr.: Robert Jones was efficient completing 13 of 18 passes for three touchdowns and 186 yards. He also rushed nine times for 126 yards and another touchdown.
Brenan Kuntz – QB – Simon Kenton – Sr.: Brenan Kuntz was 20 of 27 for 367 yards and seven touchdowns. He carried the ball 15 time for 80 yards and another touchdown.
Davion Jackson – RB – Henry Clay – Sr.: Davion Jackson carried the ball only six times, but picked up 157 yards and three touchdowns.
Nacarius Fant – WR – Bowling Green – Sr.: Nacarius Fant caught only four passes, but picked up 130 yards and three touchdowns in the first half.
Devin Hayes – QB – Bowling Green – Sr.: In a single half of action, Devin Hayes completed 12 of 16 passes for 282 yards and eight touchdowns.
Elijah Sindelar – QB – Caldwell County – Jr.: Elijah Sindelar completed 21 of 31 passes for 294 yards and three touchdowns.
Jalen Washington – RB – Frankfort High – Jr.: Jalen Washington picked up 143 yards on only 12 carries and a touchdown.
