Moran Visits IU
Sophomore standout running back Kentrail Moran has received consistent attention from Illinois, Indiana, and Northern Illinois. But has also recently heard from USC, Oregon, Florida, Tennessee and several other schools as well. Over the weekend, Moran visited Indiana for the game against Penn State. "The visit was good, I like the atmosphere and the relationship between the coaches and players," Moran said. There were several things about the visit that stood out to Moran. "My favorite part was just talking to the coaches about the depth chart and how things are things are with the running backs," Moran said. "Also, what was another favorite part of mine was how they all played together as a unit." And as for the facilities and the weigh room? Those impressed Moran too. "Indiana has a nice facility, it looks nice, it's big, and also has a pretty big weight room," Moran said. "I was surprised how big it was." With homecoming coming up for O'Fallon, Moran is looking to tack on several more good games for his sophomore season -- right now he is averaging 9.0 yards a carry. "I think I matured my cutting ability, ability to read the defenders, and ability to make a move in the open field," Moran said. "I learned a lot this season and in the offseason so far and I have been translating that onto the football field."
