Scout.com went to check out stellar Ennis (Texas) running back Terence Williams and caught up with him after he put on a show in Mansfield (Texas) this past week.

Terence Williams (No. 18 running back 2014) had his way with Mansfield Lakeridge in a dominating victory 62-14. He opened up his showcase with a 28 yard touchdown reception to jumpstart his night.

Williams would later bust the Lakeridge defense open scoring on runs of 33, 64, and seven yards from scrimmage. Williams gathered 248 all-purpose yards before coming out of the game for good very early in the fourth quarter. Williams averaged a jaw dropping 13 yards a carry and 19 yards per catch in the blowout.

Williams took his official visit to Baylor this past weekend, but he claims he is already sold on playing ball in Waco, Texas next year.
“I’m definitely going to Baylor. It’s a solid commitment,” Williams said.

Williams talked about the Baylor staff’s plans to have him ready to make an impact right away as another key to an already explosive offense. One of his deciding factors had a lot to do with his confidence in Baylor’s Athletic Performance coach Kaz Kazadi to get him ready to play at a high level as a true freshman.

“Coach Kaz is one of the main points. I feel like he is going to get me where I need to be. The coaches have already talked to me about playing as when I get there.”

Williams has great size at 6-foot-2, 220 pounds but he is also probably one of the most multi-talented players that we have seen in live action. He mainly plays running back for Ennis, but he is also one of their go-to receivers when they need a big play in the air.

Williams is a smooth runner but he will run through defensive backs and he can make linebackers miss in the open field. Baylor head coach Art Briles has to be excited about another dangerous weapon to add to an offensive arsenal that is currently averaging over 60 points a game.

“I’m bigger than most backs, for my size I’ve got a little speed on me, and I’m also stronger than most guys so that helps me out a lot,” Williams said.

Williams already has 10 touchdowns on the season and as one of the most versatile players in the 2014 class, he can score from anywhere on the field.
