Focus 2017: Bruce Jordan-Swilling
"I'm part of the three-man rotation at running back," Bruce Jordan-Swilling said just prior to last week's loss to nationally-ranked St. Augustine in the district opener. "It's going good. I have nine touchdowns on the year. I had three touchdowns with 200 yards rushing against Vandebilt Catholic." The 6-2, 205-pounder reports a vertical of 38.5 inches, which was backed up by his older brother Pat Swilling. Pat, a current member of the men's hoops team at Tulsa, actually forecast a PR in the vertical for his young brother at nearly 42 inches. "I'm a hard-working player who loves my teammates," Bruce added. "I love my teammates. I work to find open holes and then cutback with a burst of speed. It's good running behind (LSU o-line commit) William Clapp because he's going to open the hole." USC, LSU, Florida State, Alabama, Florida, Vanderbilt, Tulane, Georgia Tech, UCLA, Brigham Young, Tulsa and Baylor are all schools of interest. Keep it locked here for continuing coverage of this exciting young prospect.
