No doubts for Offray

Edna Karr CB Juwan Offray earned a camp offer from Oklahoma State and committed shortly thereafter. Read on as Offray explains that his commitment to the Cowboys is as solid as ever...

Juwan Offray suits up for the Karr Cougars, the state of Louisiana's highest-ranked club at No. 26 in the FOX Sports 50 compiled each week by Scott Kennedy.

The Cougars are 4-1 with the only loss coming at the hands of another New Orleans metro area powerhouse, No. 28 John Curtis Christian.

The Cougars stormed back from a 30-6 deficit to take a 33-30 lead over Curtis in the fourth quarter -- before the Patriots embarked on a last-minute scoring drive.

Karr trailed then-unbeaten Landry/Walker at the half last week before bouncing back to prevail, 26-22.

"We took the Curtis loss to heart," Offray said. "We were losing at halftime 15-7 or 6-0 against Landry. I've been using my speed and awareness to blow up the ball. I had two picks against St. Aug and two against St. Paul's."

Karr beat nationally-ranked St. Augustine in week two, 24-14.

Offray wowed the OSU staff at camp.

"I have a dominant attitude and wanted to teach receivers a lesson," he said. "After they went against me a couple of times they were scared."

He plans to take his official visit to Stillwater in January with his mom.

Offray enjoys a close rapport with OSU coach Eric Henderson, who grew up in the same New Orleans West Bank area.

"That's where I'll be attending," he said of Oklahoma State.

Offray has a teammate, 2014 DL Joyan Williams, who is also committed to the Pokes. Recommended Stories
