Bennett will be an OLB recruit

Anthony Bennett will be a good outside linebacker/defensive end recruit from Weston (Fla.) Cypress Bay next year.

Weston (Fla.) Cypress Bay is home to a talented defensive end prospect in their junior class in Anthony Bennett. Bennett, 6-foot-3, 225-pounds, plays defensive end and offensive tackle.

"I am pretty sure that I will play on defense and I guess the position will depend on the scheme," Bennett said. "I can play defensive end or outside linebacker. It doesn't matter to me. And I can play in a 3-4 or a 4-3. I am a guy that plays strong, hard, fast and smart."

Bennett doesn't have any scholarship offers at this time but is hearing from a handful of schools.

"Arkansas, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Central Florida, Wake Forest and Miami are sending me stuff and recruiting me," Bennett said. "I have been to a couple of Miami games but I haven't seen anyone else."

Bennett isn't the only 2015 recruit in his class. Opposite him on the defensive front at the end position is Danny Thomas.

"It's nice having him on there," Bennett said. "You just can't key on one guy."
