From Miami: Miami Reaction Video

Florida Field Reporter
Posted Oct 23, 2013

The wait is over for the Miami Hurricanes. After two-and-a-half of investigating, the NCAA has announced the sanctions, and it looks like commits and targets are happy with the results.

The Hurricanes will lose a total of nine scholarships - three a year for the next three years. The biggest sigh of relief it seems comes from the fact that Miami will not be banned from any post-season appearances.

Commitments Chad Thomas, Demetrius Jackson, Trevor Darling, Joseph Yearby, Nigel Bethel, Mark Walton, and Brandon Powell all share their thoughts in the video below. Miami targets Devonaire Clarington, Tim Irvin, and Dalvin Cook also weigh in, as does former Miami staffer and current Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington football coach Tim "Ice" Harris. It's all in the video below.
