Rank (Last)

Team (Record) City, ST

1 (1)
Booker T Washington Logo
Washington (8-0) Miami, FL

Booker T. Washington had little trouble getting past Norland last week, and they'll have even less trouble with Edison this week as the Tornadoes make their way towards the playoffs.

Last: Def Norland 41-14
Next: 11/2 @ Edison (1-7)
2 (2)
Allen Logo
Allen (8-0) Allen, TX

It says something about how strong Allen has been when I see a 23 point score line and think, that Boyd really gave Allen some trouble last week. The game against McKinney won't be within 23. Expect another big Eagle win.

Last: Def Boyd 49-26
Next: 11/1 McKinney (3-5)
3 (3)
Miami Central Logo
Miami Central (6-1) Miami, FL

Carol City is a good football team. Miami Central is a great football team. The Rockets won't be challenged this week against Palmetto.

Last: Def Carol City 48-18
: 11/2 Palmetto (2-6)
4 (4)
DeSoto Logo

DeSoto (8-0) De Soto, TX

It almost feels like homecoming everywhere with the lopsided scores we're going to have this week. DeSoto like the teams above them will put up a huge number this week on hapless Grand Prairie.

Last: Def Duncanville 55-29
Next: 11/1 @ Grand Prairie (1-7)

5 (5)
De La Salle Logo
De La Salle (8-0) Concord, CA

Like most De La Salle teams, this Sparta team keeps getting better every week. The only drama left in their season is who will they face from Southern California in the Open Division?

Last: Def Amador Valley 63-14
Next: 11/1 @ Monte Vista (2-6)
6 (6)
St. Joseph Regional Logo
St. Joseph Regional (6-0) Montvale, NJ

St. Joseph Regional took firm control of New Jersey with their win over Paramus Catholic. The Green Knights made sure there was no rebound for Paramus Catholic who got beat by Don Bosco Prep two weeks ago. Expect another tough game this week at DePaul.

Last: Def Paramus Catholic 27-14
Next: 11/1 @ DePaul (5-1)
7 (7)
Saint John Bosco Logo
St. John Bosco (8-0) Bellflower, CA

Right now the answer to the question posed for No. 5 De La Salle is answered by No. 7 St. John Bosco. If there's a hotter team in California than the Spartans, it's the Braves. Some of the luster was taken off this week's match up with Mater Dei as the Monarchs were upset last week, but this is still a huge game for St. John Bosco.

Last: Def JSerra 48-7
Next: 11/1 Mater Dei (7-1)

8 (8)
Manatee logo
Manatee (9-0) Bradenton, FL

Manatee proved to be the better team against No. 11 University in last week's game of the week. The Hurricanes hadn't been challenged most of the season, for that matter, neither had University. The experience will do both teams well in the playoffs when the competition is elevated.

Last: Def University 28-24
: 11/1 Palm Harbor U (4-4)
9 (9)
Katy Logo
Katy (8-0) Katy, TX

Katy had a comfortable game with Strake Jesuit last week, but they'll be tested this week against a good Cinco Ranch team.

Last: Def Strake Jesuit 48-7
Next: 11/2 Cinco Ranch (7-1)
10 (10)
Colerain Logo
Colerain (9-0) Cincinnati, OH

Colerain blew past Middletown last week, but they'll have a little more difficulty with Oak Hills.

Last: Def Middletown 49-10
Next: 11/1 @ Oak Hills (5-4) 46
11 (12)
Hoover Logo
Hoover (9-0) Hoover, AL

Hoover had a statement game last week. Tuscaloosa County was supposed to be a good test for the Bucs, but 41-0 later, the state of Alabama was put on notice. Opelika is capable of playing with Hoover, but thought Tuscaloosa County could hang with the Bucs too.

Last: Def Tuscaloosa County 41-0
: 10/31 @ Opelika (7-2)
12 (13)
Northwestern Trojans Logo Helmet
Northwestern (9-0) Rock Hill, SC

Speaking of statement games, York came into Friday night with a shiny 8-0 record. Northwestern sent them home with their tails between their legs courtesy of a 45-15 beating. There's little reason to think the outcome will be different this week at Nation Ford.

Last: Def York 45-15
Next: 11/1 @ Nation Ford (6-3)
13 (26)
Serra Logo Helmet
Serra (8-0) Gardena, CA

The top three teams in California are all peaking at the right time. St. Francis has been a pleasant surprise with its 8-0 record, but they haven't faced anyone the likes of Serra this year.

Last: Def Cathedral 45-14
Next: 11/1 St. Francis (8-0)
14 (14)
Byrnes Logo
Byrnes (8-1) Duncan, SC

I'd be curious to find out if the Byrnes/Mauldin basketball game combines for 125 points like their football counterparts did last week. Byrnes will have more of a battle to put points on the board this week against Dorman.

Last: Def Mauldin 76-49
Next: 11/1 Dorman (6-3)
15 (15)
  Bellevue Logo
Bellevue (8-0) Bellevue, WA

Bellevue had an easy time with Liberty. They'll have an easy time of it this week against Mercer Island.

Last: Def Liberty 38-7
Next: 11/1 Mercer Island (4-3)
16 (16)
Oscar Smith Logo
Oscar Smith (8-0) Chesapeake, VA

Oscar Smith is another team peaking at the right time. King's Fork is a solid opponent, and the Tigers decimated them. Oscar Smith should move to 9-0 easily this week.

Last: Def King's Fork 62-12
Next: 11/1 @ Great Bridge (4-4)
17 (18)
Lamar Football Logo Helmet Houston
Lamar (7-0) Houston, TX

Lamar easily outpaced Madison 56-7 last week. They should get a better game from Bellaire on Friday, but the Redskins should still cruise to victory.

Last: Def Madison 56-7
Next: 11/1 Bellaire (7-1)
18 (19)
Brother Rice Helmet Logo
Brother Rice (9-0) Bloomfield Hills, MI

Brother Rice looks to be the class of Michigan after their double digit win against Catholic Central.  They'll take on Groves this week to open the playoffs.

Last: Def Catholic Central 20-7
Next: 11/1 Groves (7-2)
19 (22)
Miramar Logo
Miramar (9-0) Miramar, FL

After getting a scare against Flanagan two weeks ago, Miramar was in no mood to play with Cypress Bay. Cooper City will be dispatched just as easily this week.

Last:  Def Cypress Bay 38-2
Next: 11/1 Cooper City (3-6)

20 (23)
Mountain Pointe Logo Helmet Football
Mountain Pointe (8-0) Phoenix, AZ

Not that Mountain Pointe needed the off week to get ready for Dobson, but the break will be welcome heading towards the playoffs.

Last: Idle
Next: 11/1 @ Dobson (2-7)
21 (24)
Aquinas Logo
Aquinas (7-1) Fort Lauderdale, FL

Hollywood Hills was no match for Aquinas, but Plantation might make the Raiders play a full four quarters.

Last: Def Hollywood Hills 47-7
Next: 11/1 @ Plantation (7-1) 26
22 (11)
University School Logo Ft. Lauderdale
University (8-1) Ft. Lauderdale, FL

It had been over a month since University was on the field with a peer. The Suns fell short against No. 8 Manatee in a hard fought game, but the experience of being in a battle to the end will serve them well in the playoffs.

Last: Def Lost to No. 8 Manatee 28-24
Next: 11/1 Island Coast (8-1)
23 (25)
Edna Karr Logo
Karr (6-1) New Orleans, LA

Karr used their entire roster against Belle Chasse last week. McDonogh 35 carries only a .500 record, but Karr knows not to take them lightly.

Last: Def Belle Chasse 70-7
Next: 11/1 @ McDonogh 35 (4-4)
24 (27)
John Curtis Christian Logo
John Curtis (5-2) River Ridge, LA

The fun games might be on hold until late in the playoffs as Curtis is beating up on its regional schedule.

Last: Def Lusher 67-8
Next: 11/1 De La Salle (4-3)
25 (28)
Punahou Football Helmet Logo
Punahou (9-0) Honolulu, HI

Punahou left little doubt in their rematch with Kamehameha. The Warriors only have two losses on the season, but they were both convincing defeats at the hands of the Buff 'n Blue.

Last: Def Kamehameha (38-12)
Next: Playoffs
26 (29)
Folsom Football Helmet Logo
Folsom (8-0) Folsom, CA

I can't remember a season when there were so many 80+ score lines. Folsom won't score 80 this week, but they should beat Ponderosa handily.

Last: Def Sheldon 80-27
Next: 11/1 Ponderosa (4-4)
27 (30)
Mission Viejo Logo
Mission Viejo (8-0) Mission Viejo, CA

Mission Viejo dispatched Tesoro efficiently and effectively last week. Trabuco Hills won't stand in the way of the Diablos finishing the regular season 10-0.

Last: Def Tesoro 37-7
: 11/1 @ Trabuco Hills (5-3)
28 (31)
Coppell Logo
Coppell (6-1) Coppell, TX

Coppell has had an easy road the last couple of weeks, but the road is about to get bumpy with its showdown with Denton Ryan this week.

Last: Def Marcus 41-3
Next: 11/1 Denton Ryan (6-1)
29 (32)
Aledo Logo
Aledo (8-0) Aledo, TX

No one submitted a bullying report (I think) this week against Aledo, but the Tigers still pushed Southwest around the field. Granbury is 8-0 heading into this week, but don't be fooled, Aledo rolls.

Last: Def Southwest 59-13
Next: 11/1 Granbury (8-0)

30 (33)
Saint Augustine Football Helmet Logo

Saint Augustine (6-1) New Orleans, LA

St. Augustine has found itself in some tight games of late, and the Purple Knights have dug down deep to pull out wins including hanging the first loss on Holy Cross last week.

Last: Def Holy Cross 33-30
Next: 11/2 @ Archbishop Shaw (4-3-1)
31 (34)
Jenks Football Helmet Logo
Jenks (8-0) Jenks, OK

Jenks got a bit of a break last week against Muscogee, but they'll get another good team this week in Bixbee. Jenks has been decimating the top teams in Oklahoma, and they'll get another chance this weekend.

Last: Def Muscogee 56-14
Next: 11/2 @ Bixbee (6-2) 8
32 (49)
Blue Springs Football Logo Helmet
Blue Springs (9-0) Blue Springs, MO

Blue Springs and Lee's Summit was supposed to be a separator game between a pair of undefeated teams. It was a separator alright. Blue Springs separated themselves from the rest of Missouri with an impressive 49-7 win.

Last: Def Lee's Summit 49-7
Next: Playoffs
33 (35)
Ensworth Logo
Ensworth (9-0) Nashville, TN

Ensworth got a good game from Baylor. Brentwood Academy should be a good test for them as well.

Last: Def Baylor 16-9
Next: 11/1 @ Brentwood Academy (6-3)
34 (37)
Salpointe Catholic Helmet Logo
Salpointe Catholic (9-0) Tucson, AZ

Salpointe Catholic won big against Ironwood Ridge, and they should handle Tucson without much difficulty as well to close out a perfect regular season.

Last: Def Ironwood Ridge 48-9
Next: 11/1 Tucson (7-2)
35 (38)
Dematha Logo
DeMatha (8-1) Hyattsville, MD

DeMatha was off last week, and they'll have another tune up this week against Archbishop Carroll.

Last: Idle
: 11-2 @ Archbishop Carroll (2-7)
36 (39)
Apopka Football Helmet Logo
Apopka (8-1) Apopka, FL

Apopka heaped more misery on a once powerful Edgewater program. Olympia has never been where Edgewater once was, but they'll get a similar result against Apopka.

Last: Def Edgewater 70-0
Next: 11/1 @Olympia (2-6)
37 (40)
Southlake Carroll Logo
Carroll (7-1) Southlake, TX

Keller was never going to be a match for Southlake Carroll, but Fossil Ridge has the talent to play with the Dragons. Still, Carroll should come out with the victory.

Last: Def Keller 52-17
: 10/31 @ Fossil Ridge (6-2) 45
38 (41)
Ocean Lakes Logo
Ocean Lakes (8-0) Virginia Beach, VA

Ocean Lakes had little trouble with Landstown, and they have to be careful not to get accused of bullying Princess Anne (0-8) this week.

Last: Def Landstown 48-6
Next: 11/1 Princess Anne (0-8)
39 (42)
Sandy Creek Logo
Sandy Creek (7-0-1) Sandy Creek, GA

Sandy Creek dominated another proud program in LaGrange setting up this week's showdown with undefeated Carrollton.

Last: Def LaGrange 35-0
Next: 11/1 @ Carrollton (8-0)
40 (43)
Mentor Football Logo
Mentor (8-1) Mentor, OH

Mentor had a terrific performance in knocking off Hudson last week. Hudson entered the game undefeated. The Cardinals should close out their regular season with a win at Strongsville.

Last: Def Hudson 38-14
Next: 11/1 @ Strongsville (5-4)

41 (47)
St. Edward Logo
St. Edward (7-1) Lakewood, OH

St. Edward bounced back in style after they were upset by St. Ignatius two weeks ago. The Eagles knocked off Archbishop Moeller in a 45-42 instant classic. The Eagles will get a strong test from Eastern Christian Football Academy this week.

Last: Def Archbishop Moeller 45-42
Next: 11/2 Eastern Christian Football Academy (6-1)
Lowell Logo
Lowell (9-0) Lowell, MI

Lowell tuned up for the playoffs with an easy win against Jenison. The Red Arrows are scheduled to take on Mona Shores in a tough first round game of the playoffs.

Last: Def Jenison 49-7
Next: 11/1 Mona Shores (7-2)
43 (46)
Mallard Creek Logo
Mallard Creek (9-0) Charlotte, NC

Mallard Creek is easing into the playoffs with a 49-7 win over Brown. It shouldn't be that close against Robinson on Friday.

Last: Def Brown 49-7
Next: 11/1 @ Robinson (0-9)
44 (20)
Archbishop Moeller Logo
Archbishop Moeller (8-1) Cincinnati, OH

Moeller knew they were going to get a focused and angry St. Edward team, and they fell in arguably the best game in the Top 50 last week. Moeller looks to get back on track against Louisville Trinity.

Last: Def Lost to St. Edward 45-42
Next: 11/1 @ Louisville Trinity (4-4)
45 (NR)
Collins Hill Logo
Collins Hill (7-1) Suwanee, GA

Coming in with a 6-1 record and playing well, it's hard to call the Eagles' win over North Gwinnett a huge upset, but I don't think anyone expected the score to be as lopsided as the final 53-28 ended up. Collins Hill's only blemish on the season came to Norcross who began the year in the Top 10 and is starting to play up to their potential.

Last: Def North Gwinnett 53-28
Next: 11/1 Duluth (2-6)
46 (36)
Paramus Catholic Helmet Logo
Paramus Catholic (5-2) Paramus, NJ

Paramus Catholic was outclassed by a Top 10 team last week. The Spartans look to get back on track this week against Friendship.

Last: Lost to St. Joseph Regional 27-14
Next: 11/2 Friendship (DC) (3-3)
47 (45)
Bingham Miners Football
Bingham (10-0) South Jordan, UT

Bingham closed out a perfect season with a tough win against Alta. They get a much easier opponent in the first round of the playoffs.

Last: Def Alta 33-27
Next: 11/1 West Salt Lake (4-5)
48 (17)
North Gwinnett Logo
North Gwinnett (8-1) Suwanee, GA

North Gwinnett was humbled by rival Collins Hill. Their body of work to this point keeps them in the Top 50, but possible rematches with Collins Hill and a surging Norcross team will decide who stays in the Top 50.

Last: Lost to Collins Hill 53-28
Next: 11/1 @ Mountain View (2-6)

49 (21)
Mater Dei Logo
Mater Dei (7-1) Santa Ana, CA

We can't say that Mater Dei was looking ahead to this week's showdown with St. John Bosco, the Monarchs were just beaten by a good Santa Margarita team. Mater Dei is another team with a quick chance for redemption against SoCal's top team.

Last: Lost to Santa Margarita 16-7
Next: 11/1 @ St. John Bosco (8-0)
50 (NR)
Brandon Bulldogs Football Logo
Brandon (8-1) Brandon, MS

Brandon earned a spot in the Top 50 after blowing out No. 48 Oak Grove last week. The Bulldogs are entitled to celebrate some after their big win, and Jim Hill is the perfect opponent to be a little less than 100% focused this week.

Last: Def Oak Grove 42-23
Next: 11/1 @ Jim Hill (1-9)

In: Collins Hill (GA), Brandon (MS)

Out: Male (KY), Oak Grove (MS)
