The regular season is winding down for most players but a few Ole Miss commits who have missed some time this year are expected to be returning soon.

**Oxford defeated Clarksdale 47-12 last Friday to push its record to 9-0. Sophomore Ole Miss commit DeKaylin Metcalf returned to the field for the first time in nearly a month and half. He caught five passes for 52 yards and two touchdowns. He now has 22 catches for 278 yards and five touchdowns through five games of action.

Oxford (9-0) plays at Center Hill tonight.

 

 

 

**Ole Miss commits WR Dayall Harris, S Ronald Walker, Breeland Speaks, OL Roderick Taylor and Callaway suffered their first defeat of the season last week to Canton by the score of 15-14.

3-Star WR Harris had 4 catches for 68 yards yards in the contest. This brings his season total to 33 catches for 328 yards and six touchdowns. The nation's #28 ranked safety, Ronald Walker, had eight tackles and two for loss. He now has 82 tackles, seven for loss, two sacks, four forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and an 80-yard kickoff return through five games. Taylor paved the way for a ground attack that rushed for over 200 yards and has yet to allow a sack playing left tackle this season. Taylor will be playing in the Under Armour All-American game in January. Recent commit Speaks chipped in six tackles and two for loss. He now has 73 tackles, six and a half sacks and 19 tackles for loss. Speaks also has eight QB hurries.

Jackson Callaway (8-1) plays at Pearl tonight.


 

**Ole Miss commit RB Akeem Judd had his second solid game in a row for Georgia Military Academy in a victory over Georgia Sports 67-16 last Thursday. The 215-pound Judd rushed the ball eight times for 95 yards and a touchdown in the contest. He rushed for over 125 yards the prior week. He seems to be getting over his turf toe and sprained shoulder. The Bulldogs are now ranked #1 in the country and sport a 9-0 record. Judd has 77 rushes for 400 yards and three touchdowns in a injury-riddled season.

GA Military College (9-0) faces Concordia College Saturday..

 

**North Panola was defeated by Charleston by a score of 49-20. Ole Miss commit Willie Hibbler, a 4-Star TE, was the star for the Cougar offense, as he hauled in five passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns. The 6' 5", 220-pound Hibbler now has 23 catches for 542 yards and seven touchdowns on the season while also rushing for another 50 yards. Ole Miss sophomore commit Justin Conner rushed the ball 17 times for 36 yards. The 190-pound tailback now has 814 rushing yards and five touchdowns for the season.

North Panola (5-4) is at Independence tonight.

**Bassfield defeated Lloyd Star 56-8 last Friday to run its record to 9-1. Ole Miss commit Calvin Moore was 2-5 for 33 yards. The 3-Star CB is now 37-61 for 735 yards and eight touchdowns through 10 games. The 5' 11", 185-pound Moore has rushed for 127 yards on the season. C.J. also has 11 tackles on defense and three pass breakups on defense. 3-Star LB Alvin Moore had eight tackles and a sack in the contest. A.J. now has 71 tackles, seven for loss, two safeties, four pass breakups and three sacks through 10 games.

The Yellow Jackets (9-1) plays at home against East Marion to decide the district champ tonight.

 

 

 

 

 

**The nation's top kicker, Gary Wunderlich, missed his only field goal attempt from 41 yards in MUS' 42-20 win over Craigmont last Friday. He had one punt for 54 yards in the contest. MUS has now won six games in a row. For the season the Under Armour All-American has punted the ball 25 times for a 46.9 yard average. He has made all of PATs and thirty eight of his 52 kickoffs have been downed in the end zone. Wunderlich is 3-6 in the field goal department with all three of his misses from over 50 yards. His long for the season is 51 yards.

MUS faces (7-2) plays at home against Briarcrest tonight in from of Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze.



**Colquitt County (GA) DT Jamiyus Pittman broke his femur in the first quarter of game three and is expected to return next week for Colquitt County. He was having a monster season year as he recorded 32 tackles, three sacks and seven tackles for loss in three games of action.

**Lafayette defeated Senatobia 30-7 last Friday to even its record to 5-5 on the season. Ole Miss commit D.K. Buford had 15 rushes for 79 yards and a a touchdowns in the contest. He also caught two passes for 22 yards. In 10 games of action Buford has 722 rushing yards, 279 receiving yards, and 14 touchdowns.

Lafayette (5-5) is at Byhalia tonight.

 

 

 

 

 

**Olive Branch defeated Horn Lake 37-14 last Friday. LB Alfred Dickens missed the contest due to a concussion he received in the South Panola game. He is still suffering some memory loss but each day it is slowly coming back but has not returned to school or practice in the past three weeks. Through five and half games of action he chipped in 62 tackles, two sacks, three interceptions, eight pass breakups and forced two fumbles.

Olive Branch (6-4) is at home against Hernando tonight for senior night.

 


 

 

 

**The nation's #49 rated OL, Tyler Putman, had his season came to an end when he tore his ACL in his left knee in game one. He had a successful surgery and is expected to be ready for a two-a-days in August at Ole Miss.



**4-Star OG Andy Bauer had a successful surgery on his hip in August. He will miss the remainder of the high school season but his recovery time is quicker than most anticipated.

Bauer was selected to the Under Armour All-American game .



**The nation's #10 ranked safety, C.J. Hampton and Meridian defeated Petal 45-21 last Friday. The 6' 0", 195-pound safety had 10 tackles and caused a fumble in the contest. Meridian's season stats have not been updated. He was recently selected to the Army All-American game.

Meridian (6-3) is at home against Terry tonight.

**The nation's #36 rated defensive end, Victor Evans, had six tackles, and two sacks in Dallas Skyline's 65-7 win over Dallas White last Friday. For the season the rush end now has 43 tackles, 11.5 sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss in seven games of action this year.

Skyline (8-1) is at Berkner tonight.

 

 

 

 

 

**Sandy Creek and the nation's #49 rated defensive tackle Chris Williams defeated LaGrange 42-7 last Friday to run their record to 7-0-1. The Ole Miss commit had five tackles and a sack in his second game back after missing four games with an ankle injury. The 6' 2", 280-pound Williams now has 17 tackles and three sacks through four games of action.

Sandy Creek (GA) (7-0-1) plays at Carrollton(GA ) tonight.



**Florence (Ala.) and Ole Miss commit Kendrick Doss beat Sparkman 69-43 last Friday. The 6' 2", 215-pound quarterback was 13-19 for 218 yards and two touchdowns in the contest. He also rushed for 127 yards a touchdown. Through nine games of action he has passed for over 1,500 yards, rushed for over 700, and has 21 total touchdowns.

Florence (7-2) is at home against Vestavia Hills tonight.

 

**Ole Miss commit Jeremy Liggins and Northeast Community College's season is now over. In three games at defensive end he had 14 tackles and a sack. In three games of action at quarterback he had over 248 passing yards, 90 rushing yards and four touchdowns.

Northeast completed their season with a 3-6 record.



**Ole Miss tight end commit Charles Standberry had three catches for 66 yards and a touchdown their 63-0 win over Lanier last Friday. For the season the nation's #32 rated tight end has 35 catches for 457 yards and seven touchdowns.

Montgomery Carver (7-2) faces Anniston tonight.

**Ole Miss 4-Star TE commit Sammie Epps had a bye last weekend. This brings his season total to 28 receptions for 571 yards and eight touchdowns

Greenwood (8-1) is at home against Cleveland tonight.

 

 

 

**Ole Miss junior 4-Star commit RB Raleigh Williams and Bishop Lynche (TX) were defeated by LaMarque 35-28 last Friday. The 200-pound back rushed the ball 17 times for 57 yards and a touchdown. He has 118 carries for 670 yards, 118 receiving yards and three touchdowns through eight games of action.

Bishop Lynche (3-5-1) faces Prestwood Christian tonight.

 

**LB DeMarques Gates is expected to get cleared from an offseason knee surgery for next week's game. The nation's #34 rated outside linebacker recorded a 132 tackles as a junior. He is expected to gain medical clearance to start playing as early as next Friday.
