Team (Record) City, ST

1 (1)
Booker T Washington Logo
Washington (10-0) Miami, FL

Booker T. Washington will face better opponents than Edison in the playoffs, but it might not matter. The Tornadoes have been a dominating team this year.

Last: Def Edison 62-0
Next: Playoffs
2 (2)
Allen Logo
Allen (9-0) Allen, TX

As impressive as Washington has been this year, Allen may have been even more so this year. Their strength of schedule has been a little tougher, and no one has played the Eagles within three touchdowns this year including Top 50 members Southlake Carroll and Coppell.

Last: Def McKinney 56-7
Next: 11/8 @ Plano (7-2)
3 (3)
Miami Central Logo
Miami Central (8-1) Miami, FL

Central's only blemish this year was a down to the wire loss to Washington, but the Rockets will get the biggest test of the season since then against University on Saturday.

: 11/9 University (9-1)
4 (4)
DeSoto Logo

DeSoto (9-0) De Soto, TX

DeSoto certainly didn't play down to the level of their competition last week as the Eagles blew out Grand Prairie. Mansfield will be the final tuner before DeSoto heads to the second season that is Texas' long playoff march.

Last: Def Grand Prairie 47-0
Next: 11/7 Mansfield (5-4)

5 (5)
De La Salle Logo
De La Salle (9-0) Concord, CA

De La Salle didn't have any trouble with Monte Vista, and the Spartans should be OK against an 8-1 California High School squad.

Last: Def Monte Vista 35-7
Next: 11/8 California (8-1)
6 (6)
St. Joseph Regional (7-0) Montvale, NJ

On paper it looked like it could be a tough game for St. Joseph Regional, but the Green Knights took care of business with relative ease last week. St. Joseph should cruise past Ramapo this week as well.

Last: Def DePaul 38-14
Next: 11/9 Ramapo (6-2)
7 (7)
Saint John Bosco Logo
St. John Bosco (9-0) Bellflower, CA

St. John Bosco kept the foot down against a struggling Mater Dei team who hasn't generated any offense for two weeks. Servite can't be overlooked, but the way Bosco is playing right now, the only way they're losing is if they beat themselves.

Last: Def Mater Dei 24-2
Next: 11/8 Servite (5-4)

8 (8)
Manatee logo
Manatee (10-0) Bradenton, FL

Manatee had an easy game against Palm Harbor after their showdown with University two weeks ago. The Hurricanes can look forward to the playoffs.

Last: Def Palm Harbor 48-14

Last: Def Cinco Ranch 40-7
Next: 11/8 Memorial (6-3)
10 (10)

11 (11)
Hoover Logo
Hoover (10-0) Hoover, AL

Last: Def Opelika 29-7
Next
: 11/8 Huntsville (6-4)
12 (12)

Northwestern (10-0) Rock Hill, SC

Nation Ford wasn't going to challenge Northwestern; they didn't. Rock Hill won't be much of a test this week either.

Last: Def Nation Ford 63-18
Next: 11/8 Rock Hill (4-6)
13 (13)
Serra (9-0) Gardena, CA

St. Francis brought an 8-0 record to Serra last week, and went up 21-7 on the heavily favored Cavaliers before Serra righted the ship and pulled off a 35-21 win. There will be no such drama this week against St. Paul.

Last: Def St. Francis 35-21
Next: 11/8 @ St. Paul (1-8)
14 (14)
Byrnes (9-1) Duncan, SC

II thought Byrnes might struggle to score more points against Dorman after hanging 76 on Mauldin two weeks ago. Technically I guess I was correct, but the Rebels still put up a huge number on a good Dorman team.

Last: Def Dorman 54-14
Next: 11/8 @ Wade Hampton (3-7)
15 (15)

Last: Def Great Bridge 35-0
Next: 11/8 Hickory (2-7)
17 (17)

Lamar (8-0) Houston, TX

Lamar got a scare from a Bellaire team that they should have blown out. Chavez may get throttled this week as Lamar gets refocused.

Last: Def Bellaire 28-21
Next: 11/7 @ Chavez (3-6)
18 (18)
Brother Rice (10-0) Bloomfield Hills, MI

When too many teams get into the playoffs, you have first round scores like the 42-0 Brother Rice game last week. Seaholm will be more of a challenge, but Brother Rice should continue to advance.

Last: Def Groves 42-0
Next: 11/8 Seaholm (9-1)
19 (19)
Miramar (10-0) Miramar, FL

A loss or near loss can be a good thing to get a team back on track that has been winning easily. Miramar got a scare three weeks ago from Flanagan, and the Patriots have outscored Cypress Bay and Cooper City 98-2 since.

Last:  Def Cooper City 60-0
Next: Playoffs

20 (20)
Mountain Pointe (10-0) Phoenix, AZ

Dobson got a rested Mountain Pointe coming off a bye. Mountain Pointe would have beaten Dobson on one day rest.

Last: Def Dobson 57-3
Next: 11/8 Boulder Creek (5-5)
21 (21)

Aquinas (8-1) Fort Lauderdale, FL

Aquinas got a battle from Plantation as the Raiders slugged their way to a 16-6 win. They'll get another tough game this week from undefeated Deerfield Beach.

Next: 11/8 @ Deerfield Beach (9-0)
22 (22)

Next: 11/8 @ Central (8-1)
23 (23)

Last: Def McDonogh 35, 34-16
Next: 11/8 Easton (8-1)
24 (24)

26 (26)

Folsom (9-0) Folsom, CA

After rolling the last several opponents, Folsom gets someone who will stand toe to toe with them in Pleasant Grove. This is the game of the week in Northern California.

Last: Def Ponderosa 52-0
Next: 11/8 @ Pleasant Grove (8-1)
27 (27)

Next
: 11/8 @ El Toro (4-5)
28 (28)
Coppell (7-1) Coppell, TX

Last: Def Ryan 28-3
Next: 11/8 @ Lewisville (3-6)
29 (29)

Aledo (9-0) Aledo, TX

Does Aledo need a step up in competition? Granbury was 8-0 heading into the game against Aledo.

Last: Def Granbury 55-0
Next: 11/9 Trimble Tech (2-7)

30 (30)

Saint Augustine (7-1) New Orleans, LA

St. Augustine beat Archbishop Shaw with workman like efficiency last week. They have a short turnaround playing Saturday to Thursday, but the Purple Knights should come out victorious on short rest.

Last: Def Archbishop Shaw 33-14
Next: 11/7 Jesuit (6-4)
31 (31)
Jenks (9-0) Jenks, OK

We give teams grief for playing weak schedule, and Jenks has made their schedule look weak. That's a good feat, because Oklahoma High School Football has a solid nucleus of teams. Jenks has crushed them all including Bixby last week.

Last: Def Bixby 45-7
Next: 11/8 Putnam City (2-7)
32 (32)

Last: Def Tucson 49-7
Next: 11/8 Cibola (6-4)
34 (35)

Last: Def Fossil Ridge 31-27
Next
: 11/8 Haltom (2-8)

Last: Def Princess Anne 45-6
Next: 11/8 @ Salem (8-1)
38 (39)

Sandy Creek (8-0-1) Sandy Creek, GA

Sandy Creek had a showdown game with undefeated Carrollton. The Patriots left little doubt as they left Carrollton and rode home on the wave of a 24-7 victory.

St. Edward (8-1) Lakewood, OH

St. Edward plays one of the best schedules in the country, and the Eagles followed up their thrilling 45-42 win over Moeller with an equally thrilling 41-40 win over Eastern Christian Football Academy on Saturday. This week brings the playoffs and an outmatched first round opponent.

Last: Def Eastern Christian Football Academy 41-40

Last: Def Mona Shores 34-24
Next: 11/8 Muskegon (9-1)
42 (43)

Mallard Creek (10-0) Charlotte, NC

Mallard Creek is in another too many regions and playoff participant state. Their first round opponent won't cause Mallard Creek to break a sweat.

Last: Def Robinson 62-0
Next: 11/8 North Mecklenburg (4-7)
43 (44)
Archbishop Moeller (9-1) Cincinnati, OH

Louisville Trinity was down this year and Moeller showed no mercy on the perennial tormentor. St. Xavier enters the game 5-5, but Moeller knows that St. X is capable of spoiling an entire season on Saturday night in the first round of the playoffs.

Last: Def Louisville Trinity 42-14
Next: 11/9 St. Xavier (5-5)

Poly (8-1) Long Beach, CA

The Jackrabbits find themselves in a familiar position, rising in the rankings as the team peaks at the right time. Last year Poly snuck up on everyone knocking off St. John Bosco, Mission Viejo, and Mater Dei in the playoffs. This year, the Jackrabbits have everyone's attention and will enter the Pac-5 playoffs as one of the favorites.

Next: 11/8 Mill Creek (6-3)
46 (46)
Paramus Catholic (6-2) Paramus, NJ

Paramus Catholic got back on the winning track after being humbled by No. 6 St. Joseph Regional two weeks ago. The Paladins should put Bergen Catholic out of their misery on Saturday.

Last: Def Friendship 41-14
Next: 11/9 @ Bergen Catholic (2-5)
47 (47)

Bingham (11-0) South Jordan, UT

Bingham got an easy first round game against West Salt Lake last week, but Riverton should be a better opponent.

Last: Def West Salt Lake 41-10
Next: 11/8 Riverton (9-2)
48 (48)
North Gwinnett (8-1) Suwanee, GA

North Gwinnett got back on track against Mountain View, but they'll need to bring their "A" game on Friday against Peachtree Ridge who is capable of pulling off the upset.

Last: Def Mountain View 40-7
Next: 11/8 Peachtree Ridge (7-2)

49 (50)
Brandon (9-1) Brandon, MS

We thought Brandon might have a bit of a letdown against Jim Hill after beating Oak Grove two weeks ago. There was a letdown, but Jim Hill was the right opponent to be less than 100% focused. Brandon will coast this week as well.

Last: Def Jim Hill 41-21
Next: 11/8 Provine (2-8)

Spanish Fort (10-0) Spanish Fort, AL
