Decision day for Hand

Five-star defensive end Da'Shawn Hand is ready to make his college decision. The Woodbridge (Va.) standout will make his announcement today at 12 p.m.

For over three years, the Da'Shawn Hand has been one of the most sought-after college football prospects in the country.

During his freshman year of high school, the 6-foot-5, 262-pound Hand received his first of what would be 94 scholarship offers.

That's right, 94 scholarship offers.

Now, only three remain. In just a few hours, the nation's 10th-ranked prospect will choose between Alabama, Florida and Michigan.

Where will Hand go?

After talking with people close to the situation, I think he will chose Michigan, which is what most have thought for some time.

Back in the spring, I believed the Wolverines were an overwhelming favorite. Since that time, both Alabama and Florida have made strong pushes.

"That's my thing – I let everybody think what they want," Hand told me back in August. "They can make all the predictions in the world, but only I know."

With that in mind, I would not be shocked if Hand picked any of the three.

We will know soon – very soon.

Hand will make his decision today at 12 p.m. Stay tuned to Scout.com for coverage of his announcement.
