Anthony Brown profile "I am really happy right now," said Brown. "Things are going good with life and with football. "There are a lot of good things happening for me." Brown played last season at Archbishop Carroll, but made the move to Killian over the summer. It has taken some time, but things are now on track. "At the beginning of the season, things were hard," explained Brown. "We started out 1-4 and we just weren't playing well. "Our coaches had a meeting and told us all that it was time to step up. "Since then, we are 6-0 and we have the second round of the playoffs coming up. "We are playing better and it's exciting." Brown is still relatively new to the game of football, but as a senior he has taken some strides towards stardom. "I feel like I am getting better at the game of football," said the converted basketball player. "This is only my second year playing high school football and things are a lot better for me this year. "My technique is better and I just understand the game better. "I am having a lot of fun this year and I feel like things are going to get better for me." Brown committed to Florida International shortly before the season began, but needless to say business has picked up. "I have offers from Cincinnati, Mississippi State, Memphis, Michigan State, FIU, FAU, Appalachian State and a few more," said Brown. "Mississippi State was my latest offer. "I talked to them a couple of days ago. They had watched my film and Coach (Billy) Gonzales wanted me to know that they were offering me and that they were going to be recruiting me." The chance to play in the SEC is something that Brown finds intriguing, but he reports that recruiting is on the back burner for now. "I am verbally committed to FIU, but my options are open," said Brown. "To be honest about it, I am not really thinking about college right now. "I know I only have one more high school game left for sure and I want to keep the season going as long as I can. "I am going to think more about college once our season is over. "I am just trying to get all I can out of this season before I make my decision about next year."
