Junior wide receiver Taborn Kissick took a trip north last weekend. The Bath County (KY.) prospect talks with Scout.com about his visit and his junior season.

Taborn Kissick took a trip to Temple last weekend to see the Owls take on Connecticut. What did the 6-foot-1, 175-pound receiver think of the trip?

"It was a lot of fun," said Kissick. "The coaches there were all really cool. Me and Coach (Terry) Smith hit it off big."

Kissick was impressed with the program and what they are trying to build.

"I liked it a lot. They've definitely go it heading in the right direction. It's their first year in the American Athletic Conference. They used to play in the MAC. I like where the program is going. Big things to come," he said.

Kissick had a big season with 58 catches for 879 yards and six touchdowns.

"Yeah I had a good year. It was the best in our school's history for a receiver. I won the Eastern Kentucky Conference Offensive Player of the Year," Kissick said.
