Josh Malone announced on Wednesday that he will be starting his career in Knoxville early in 2014. Malone has committed to home-state Tennessee…

Josh Malone is the top prospect in Tennessee and he committed to Tennessee on Wednesday.

Malone is the No. 10 receiver in the country and he chose the Vols over Clemson, Florida State, and Georgia.

The 6-foot-2, 191 pound wide receiver from Gallatin is a Scout 100 prospect, an early enrollee, and a prospect Scout sees making an early impact at UT.

The Vols now have commitments from the top three 2014 prospects in their home state and it could become five of the top six Friday when defensive tackle Charles Mosley makes his declaration.

Tennessee now has 33 verbal commitments.

Scout’s Danny Parker is in Gallatin covering the Malone press conference and he will have much more on this breaking news later today.
