FRISCO, Texas --'s selections for the 2013-14 All-Midlands (Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska) team, featuring top prospects at each position...

Offensive Player of the Year
QB/ATH Desmon White, DeSoto (Texas)

The most electrifying offensive player in Texas. Despite his diminutive stature he has put up tremendous numbers as a senior, earning an offer to TCU in the process. He has racked up 5,050 yards of offense and scored 52 touchdowns.

Defensive Player of the Year
DE Myles Garrett, Arlington (Texas) Martin

Garrett has been a terror on the field as a senior, becoming a complete player for the Warriors. He commands a double team on almost every snap, but that did not slow his game. He had an impressive 20.5 sacks this season, nine in one game.

Junior of the Year
QB Kyler Murray, Allen (Texas) HS

Murray earned Gatorade Player of the Year in Texas and has Allen on track for a second consecutive state championship. On the season, he has compiled over 4,100 yards of offense and scored 57 touchdowns.

Sophomore of the Year
OT Greg Little, Allen (Texas) HS
S Brandon Jones, Nacogdoches (Texas) HS

It was too close to call between these two stalwarts. Greg Little may be the best offensive line prospect in the state regardless of class and Jones has put up monster numbers on both sides of the ball, most impressive may be his five interceptions.

Freshman of the Year
CB Djimon Colbert, K.C. (Mo.) Winnetonka

Looking for an excellent prospect in the 2017 class? Look no further than the big-framed corner from Kansas City. He has the frame that college coaches drool over and started on a very talented team. He compiled 26 solo tackles and three interceptions.

Private School Player of the Year
QB Foster Sawyer, Fort Worth (Texas) All Saints

After never losing a game as the starter for the school and capturing two SPC championships it would be hard to select any other player for this. How about his stat line. He scored 48 total touchdowns and only threw two interceptions. Very efficient and accurate.
