One on One with Jordan Woods
Jordan Woods has early offers from Duke, Florida, Florida State, Miami, North Carolina, South Carolina and UCF to name a few. His most recent offers came from South Alabama and Old Dominion. Woods has made four trips, two to Florida and two to Florida State. He is one of the most talked about recruits in the state of Florida regardless of class. "I was supposed to go to South Carolina to watch two games," Jordan Woods said. "I was not able to go because of scheduling conflicts with my football team. Florida State will probably be the next school I visit for a bowl practice. My family is probably going to come with me to see what the school is about." One thing all recruits have in common is they all remember their first offer. "South Carolina was my first offer," Woods said. "I was already talking to coaches and stuff but I was kind of nervous and never really expected it to hit me this fast. It's a blessing to be in this situation that I am in and I give honor to God. I was shocked when he said we want to be the first school to offer you. It was a great moment in my life." Woods without a doubt is one of the most heavily recruited players in the Sunshine state regardless of class. "Its good and bad, "Woods said. "Its good because you are getting looked at and people like you but it's bad because you don't want to show one school more attention over another school. I felt bad I was not able to get to South Carolina. Florida is so close and so is Florida State but I felt bad I did not get to South Carolina." Woods has a couple of key factors that he will use to make this decision but one stands above the rest. "The first factor is going to be the availability of churches in the area, then academics, how the school will help me become a man and the fourth thing will be the athletics, "Woods said.
