Eli Brown on the mend
Warren East (KY.) junior Eli Brown had an injury earlier this season that ended his year. Brown, however, is healing up nicely and should be ready for his senior season. Four-star Eli Brown tore his ACL earlier in the season but he's ready to bounce back and finish his high school career strong. "My knee is great. They have me bending my knee about 30 minutes a day. I'm starting to walk by myself. I'm getting pretty far just going into my third week," Brown said. Brown, who doubled as a running back and linebacker, rushed for almost 1200 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also had 50 tackles and two interceptions. He should be back to normal by the summer months. "I should be back to full strength by July or before. But I won't play until our first game and I will sit out the scrimmage game," he said. Brown was previously committed to Vanderbilt, but he opened things up. He claims offers from the Commodores, Kentucky, Western Kentucky and Ohio State. Scout.com will keep you posted on Eli Brown.
