Javius Nixon played extremely well this season.
Now, he is hoping to attract more interest from college coaching staffs.
“I've gotten a couple of things from Wake Forest and a letter from Clemson,” said the 5-foot-11, 205-pound Nixon. “I’d like to hear from North Carolina and N.C. State.”
Nixon said it was his hard work during the week that led to success on Friday nights this season.
“I practiced really hard and that showed on the field,” he said.
He is already planning his camp schedule for next summer.
“I’m going to camps at Wake Forest, Clemson, North Carolina and probably Duke,” he said.
The Beddingfield star has high goals for his senior season.
“We want to have a better season then we did this year,” he said. “We had a pretty good season, but we want to get more wins and go further in the playoffs.
"Individually, I want to score at least 20 touchdowns and have 1,000 yards receiving.”
