Tallahassee (Fla.) Florida A&M High School wide receiver/free safety prospect Christian Randolph has waited a long time for his first scholarship offer. The 6-foot-1 and 175-pound athlete doesn’t have to wait any longer. Florida A&M University has extended Randolph is first opportunity to extend to his football career at the college level.
“Yes, FAMU has offered me as a safety,” said Randolph when asked if there was any new updates on his recruitment.
The talented athlete says he intrigued with opportunity to play for the University that sits just up the road from his high school.
“It feels good because it gives me the opportunity to still be at home. It will also give me the chance to learn their system quickly. I have an official visit up the hill to FAMU in January,” continued Randolph.
In addition to FAMU, the senior has also been hearing from two other schools.
“Yeah, Jacksonville and Clark-Atlanta both came by last week to talk to me,” said Randolph in regards to new school showing interest.
The list of schools that have also shown interest in the future college defensive back or receiver include; East Carolina, Middle Tennessee, Southern Miss and South Alabama.
