Franklin (Wisc.) offensive tackle Vincent Hughes has the frame and tools to develop into an FBS prospect and colleges are already noticing.

Franklin High offensive tackle Vincent Hughes had the important job of protecting Sean McGuire this season and he did it well earning 1st team All-Conference and honorable mention All-State honors.

A long 6-foot-6, 240-pound prospect, he is now looking ahead to the offseason where more recruiting attention is expected to come his way.

"I have had contact with Wisconsin, Central Michigan, Western Illinois, Northern Illinois, Michigan State, and Iowa State," he said.

During the season, he had a chance to get to one of those programs for an unofficial game day experience.

"I visited Madison," he reported.

Hughes has an intriguing frame and package of tools for the next level. The one area he will need to improve on is that 240-pounds, but he is confident of his ability to do that.

"That will change," he said.
