Five-star safety Jamal Adams has been one of the more vocal prospects all week long at the Under Armour All-American game practices. The Lewisville, Texas athlete's recruitment has ben well publicized if not from his own mouth. On Thursday in front of a national TV audience Adams gave his verbal pledge to LSU.
Although Jamal Adams hasn't talked much about his recruitment for quite a while, Florida and LSU were the teams coming down the stretch that were looking to ink his name on national signing day.
The 6-foot, 200-pound Adams is anything but quiet on the football field both his words and the way he hits the ball carrier. The number two safety in America according to Scout.com will be a big time hitter at the next level.
"Adams is one of the nation's most physical safeties and the spiritual leader for the Green defense," Scout national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins said earlier this week. "He's built like a tank, is strong against the run or pass and is a tremendous prospect."
Adams announced his decision on ESPN at the Under Armour All-American Game.
Stay tuned to Scout.com after the game for more from Adams.
