The first commitment of the 2014 U.S. Army All-American game is in the books, Christian Brothers (Mo.) senior offensive lineman Brian Wallace is headed to Arkansas.

Four-star offensive lineman Brian Wallace from Christian Brothers (Mo.) was the first athlete in the U.S. Army All-American game that made his announcement during the game.

Wallace choose Arkansas.

"I will be taking my talents to the university of Arkansas," Wallace said from the podium at the Army Bowl during the first quarter Saturday.

Earlier in the Army Bowl week, Wallace told national recruiting analyst Greg Powers in the week -- he had narrowed his list down to two.

“The recruiting process for me, at first it was great and then it was real hectic, everybody wanted my attention and I narrowed it down to two schools: Alabama and Arkansas.”

After spending the week in San Antonio, and admitting that the two schools were even going into the week, he picked the Hawgs for several reasons.

"I think it is a great program," his father said.

Stay on for a more in-depth breakdown of Wallace's decision straight from San Antonio.
