SAN ANTONIO--Oakley (Ca.) Freedom running back Joe Mixon was named the MVP of the U.S. Army All-American game. The five-star standout caught up with Fox Sports/ after the game to talk about his performance and his big commitment news.

SAN ANTONIO--Saturday was an all around impressive day for Oakley (Ca.) Freedom running back Joe Mixon.The five-star standout led the West team to a 20-6 win over the East and earned the U.S. Army All-American Bowl game Most Valuable Player award.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder picked up his MVP trophy just minutes after picking up a Crimson and Cream hat, announcing his commitment to the University of Oklahoma.

Mixon discusses his performance in the USAAAB, being named MVP, and what sealed the deal for the Sooners, in the video below.
