De'Amontae Jackson is from Citra (Fla.) North Marion high school and has generated plenty of buzz over the last 12 months. The nation's No. 7 ranked middle linebacker prospect has plenty of options and goes in depth about his game and more.
"The best part of my game is knowing where everyone's at, eliminating mismatches, knowing my player personals and making big plays both side of the ball," De'Amontae Jackson said.
Jackson is a big, physical and strong linebacker that plays downhill.
"I feel I'm more aggressive and have a big body frame with speed that helps me run through opponents and I don't take it easy on anyone," Jackson said. "I was taught to never underestimate your opponent."
The recruiting process has been a roller coaster ride of emotion for Jackson who is landing offers at an incredible rate.
"I have offers from North Carolina State, Georgia, South Florida, Indiana, Mississippi State, Missouri, Michigan State, Nebraska, Duke, Ole Miss, Alabama, Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame, Tennessee and Auburn," Jackson said. "It feels great, no other feeling like it knowing you worked so hard to fulfill your dreams."
Jackson has enjoyed the recruiting process tremendously but aspect has stood out above the rest.
"On an average day there are so many people that I come in contact with that want to stop me and talk about football," Jackson said. "I get about 10-15 calls a day from people and it's just a great feeling. My goals during the off-season are to get in the weight room and get bigger, stronger and much faster than last season. I would like to get out to a lot more schools on some visits. I would like to visit Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida State and South Carolina."
