Daniel Parr had a monster junior season. He led West Palm Beach (Fla.) Dwyer to the state championship. This quarterback prospect in the 2015 class is certainly a D1 talent that will have a chance to catch fire this spring.
“I am hearing from Miami,” Parr said. “I have also started getting a lot of stuff from some other schools like Tennessee, Oklahoma State, FAU, and Missouri.”
Parr, 6-foot-3, 180-pounds, hopes to see locals like Florida Atlantic and Miami this spring. He’s also planning to see a few more programs this summer.
“I am definitely going up North and will check out a lot of schools,” Parr said. “I am going to see West Virginia and Pitt. I may go to Penn State as well.”
Parr is a signal caller with a lot of arm talent. Last season he threw for over 3,000 yards, 36 touchdowns and only five interceptions. He also rushed for six scores. Parr also shows the ability to extend plays and make something happen with his athleticism. He has a good frame and will certainly need to bulk up.
“I will definitely work hard in the off-season to get bigger and stronger,” Parr said. “I also want to continue to work on my athletic ability because coach [Jack Daniels] said I will be running the ball more next season.”
