A closer look at C.J. Hampton

C.J. Hampton out of Meridian, Miss., enrolled at Ole Miss in December. He will be going through spring drills at Ole Miss. What are the Rebels getting? Watch below.

What you see in C.J. Hampton is a player who runs like a defensive back that hits like a linebacker.

Another thing you notice is how well he comes out of his backpedal. The 6' 1", 195-pound free safety is technically sound and plays with great leverage at the point of attack.

Will this give the Rebels the flexibility to possibly move 1st Team All-American Cody Prewitt to linebacker this fall?
