Eastern Michigan is building their class starting at the offensive line where they have several verbal commitments from in-state prospects including Dewitt's Chris Bukoski (6'6, 265) who says the new staff was a big reason for his decision.
"Coach Creighton is doing a great job with recruiting, showing the program is changing and getting to be around that is amazing. [The offensive line coach] Coach Grubb is a good guy. His first day there, I was on a visit and what I know from him, he seems to be a great coach."
After waiting through much of the process to receive his first offer, Bukoski is glad to have a home and at the FBS level.
"I'm happy to have the process done with. It was great to see other schools and see D1 and D2 schools and see the difference. I'm thankful for the opportunity I had at both."
And he's thankful to be part of an offensive line class that looks to be the foundation of the new era at Eastern Michigan.
"I'm very excited. The guys committed look great from what I've seen. I saw all of them at camps and they seem like great players."
