Andres Preciado is a sleeper line prospect who played on both sides of the ball this past season. At 6-6, 255 pounds, he projects best as an offensive tackle at the next level and that’s where he was primarily recruited.
Preciado took visits to San Jose State, Colorado State and Columbia and was also offered by Dartmouth and Brown. He visited Boise State this past weekend and saw all he needed to see.
“The atmosphere that Coach Harsin and the rest of the staff are creating at Boise State is amazing,” Preciado said. “It’s a place where you believe in each other and know that we are going to do great things in the future.
“I felt a real connection with the players on the team and the other recruits that I didn’t feel on any other visit. It just felt right to me, it’s a perfect fit and I can’t wait to get out there and get started."
Preciado said he felt a big weight off his back after making the call to commit to the Bronco staff.
“First I called up Coach Huff and committed to him," Preciado said. "After I hung up the phone, I felt the biggest sigh of relief, it felt so good to have the decision out of the way. Then Coach Harsin called me and it was cool talking to him as well. Just to know where I’ll be spending the next chapter of my life is huge and I’m anxious to start putting in the hard work that football demands."
