Mankato West (Ill.) junior quarterback Ryan Schlichte visited Wisconsin today and spoke to Scout about his experience in Madison.

Wisconsin had one of the top juniors in Minnesota on campus today, quarterback Ryan Schlichte (6'1, 202), who says he had a good time in Madison.

"Overall, it was a great day. I really enjoyed everything about Wisconsin, the new facilities are really nice and the coaching staff seem like great people so I'm very impressed by them."

As a junior, Schlichte passed for 1822 yards and 22 touchdowns to just three interceptions and also rushed for 533 yards and nine touchdowns.

He did receive feedback from the Badgers today about his film, but not this year's just yet.

"They just said they really liked my sophomore film and camp but they'll look at my junior film after Signing Day."

Over the next few months, Schlichte will look to take more visits and put himself on the radar of new schools.

"I'm going to Minnesota next weekend. Over spring break, I'll be visiting Duke, North Carolina and Wake Forest."
