FRISCO, Texas -- Scout.com finalizes its 2014 positional rankings...

1. DeShawn Washington

Nat'l Rating: 124
Pos. Rating: 10
Location: Nederland,Texas
High School: Nederland HS
Size: 6'2|290
Recruiting: Committed to Texas A&M

Semper Fidelis All-American. He has the athleticism and lateral ability to play DE in high school and really gets after it to make plays happen behind the line of scrimmage. Shows good speed and quickness for a big man in the trenches and has a frame that looks small, but isn't. Is strong and uses his hands and power to disengage from blockers and continue his rush. Once he has you in his sights, he locks in and is relentless with his pursuit and delivers massive hits.

2. Zaycoven Henderson

Nat'l Rating: 161
Pos. Rating: 14
Location: Longview,Texas
High School: Longview HS
Size: 6'2|315
Recruiting: Committed to Texas A&M

Semper Fidelis All-American. Plays defensive end in multiple defensive schemes and is over 300 pounds, so off the top you know that he can move well for his size. He plays with a good pad level and gets off of his blocks quickly. He is strong up top and explosive when closing on the ball carriers. He is a weapon on defense, using his combo of skills and combining with a relentless motor. He is competitive and has secured MVP honors and strong showing at elite camps.

3. Peyton Newell

Nat'l Rating: NA
Pos. Rating: 26
Location: Hiawatha,Kansas
High School: Hiawatha Sr HS
Size: 6'3|280
Recruiting: Committed to Nebraska

Plays as a stand up rusher in high school, using his combination of superior size and speed to put pressure on the offenses. He makes a bunch of plays behind the line of scrimmage and shows good burst and explosion when doing so. He is a sound tackler. It is tougher to give an honest evaluation of his actual skills and techniques on the interior, because he does not play there, but you know he will disrupt and fire in to gaps.

4. Trey Lealaimatafao

Nat'l Rating: NA
Pos. Rating: 36
Location: San Antonio,Texas
High School: Earl Warren HS
Size: 6'1|290
Recruiting: Will decide between Oregon, LSU and UCLA on signing day.

He is a big-gap plugging defensive tackle, who is built more like a nose guard and is a defensive lineman who chews up space and controls the middle of the field. He is on the shorter side, but he uses that to his advantage. He plays with good leverage. He has explosion and pop off the line. Teams try to avoid him when possible, but he is still able to make a good amount of plays behind the line of scrimmage, averaging two per game.

5. Josh Malin

Nat'l Rating: NA
Pos. Rating: 40
Location: Cibolo,Texas
High School: Steele HS
Size: 6'6|240
Recruiting: Committed to Baylor

With his size and power Malin is that new age defensive line prospect who will spend time on the inside and the outside in college. He is quick enough to be a factor off the edge and powerful enough to hold the gap on the inside. Will only get better as he matures.

The Next Five:
6. Jake McMillon
7. C.J. Reese
8. Cedric Johnson
9. Armon Watts
10. D.J. Williams
