FRISCO, Texas -- Scout.com finalizes its 2014 positional rankings...

1. Terence Williams

Nat'l Rating: 126
Pos. Rating: 16
Location: Ennis,Texas
High School: Ennis HS
Size: 6'2|220
Recruiting: Committed to Baylor

Athlete who has the size and speed to play either wide receiver or running back on the next level and he plays both in high school. With the ball in his hands, he picks his holes wisely and shows nice patience and savvy, following his blocks. He is powerful and has good stiff arm, keeping defenders at a distance. He is a smooth runner with long legs, which gives him a deceptive level of speed. His long strides allow him to outrace defenders.

2. Devon Thomas

Nat'l Rating: 222
Pos. Rating: 20
Location: Broken Arrow,Oklahoma
High School: Broken Arrow HS
Size: 5'10|190
Recruiting: Committed to Oklahoma State

The all-around package at the position. Watching his tape his qualities like power and speed jump out, but he also exhibits great balance. Has the ability to run into traffic and maintain his footing to pick up additional yardage or break a big play. He shows excellent vision and the ability to make people miss. Has tremendous leg drive, he keeps churning until the last second. He possesses good size, but still has some wiggle in his game.

3. Shaun Nixon

Nat'l Rating: 228
Pos. Rating: 21
Location: Austin,Texas
High School: Lake Travis HS
Size: 5'10|190
Recruiting: National Signing Day decision.

Nixon has been on the scene for awhile at the prep powerhouse, so it was nice to see that he continued to develop and becomestronger each season. He is an electricity filled player who makes dashes to gain big chunks of yardage. He has very good feet and can slip in to and out holes and makes his cuts very quickly. He is alo a solid receiver out of the backfiled, making him a player who can stay on the field.

4. Markel Smith

Nat'l Rating: 259
Pos. Rating: 23
Location: Kirkwood,Missouri
High School: St. John Vianney HS
Size: 5'11|210
Recruiting: Committed to Iowa

Will be categorized as a power RB. And he is, but don't let the words 'power back' fool you, because in addition to running with with a low center of gravity and a bruising style he also shows nice burst and the ability to make things happen in the open field. The combo allows him to shred high school defenses for big play and should translate well to the college game. He has the ability in a 1v1 situation to make a defender miss or run him over.

5. Donald Catalon

Nat'l Rating: NA
Pos. Rating: 27
Location: Houston,Texas
High School: Eisenhower HS
Size: 5'11|195
Recruiting: Committed to Texas

A back who is extremely slippery in the open field. He runs with a dodging and dashing style. Has nice size, but does not run and move like a power back. He is elusive and accelerates very quickly which allows him to escape the grasp of would be tacklers, but will need to continue to get stronger to break free of defenders more easily. His quicks and explosiveness make him especially dangerous on the cut-back plays, which are his biggest gains.

The Next Five:
6.Traevohn Wrench
7. Justin Stockton
8. Kevin Shorter
9. Xavier Turner
10. Vic Enwere
