Port Arthur (Texas) Memorial running back Kameron Martin may only be a sophomore, but this weekend…
OSU offers four-star RB
Kameron Martin says Oklahoma State coach Van Malone extended an offer this afternoon. "Coach Malone said they don't really offer many 2016 prospects, but that I'm a helluva athlete so they want to start recruiting me now," Martin said. "He said Coach Gundy loved me and that when he saw me score on a play on my highlights, he got so fired up." Martin has a diverse group of offers with Akron, Texas Tech, Washington State, Utah, Baylor, Colorado and Oklahoma State. "Aw man, I feel really good right now," he said when asked about OSU. As Scout's Annabel Stephan reported earlier today, Martin is one of only five sophomores invited to Texas junior day this weekend. Memorial, well-known for producing standout backs, went 8-4 in 2013 (5-1 in district). The Titans reached the second round of the playoffs. Martin's legs carried a Memorial offense that put 40-plus points on the board in six games.
