"I went to Ole Miss a couple weekends back," Britt said. "I went to Georgia this past Saturday, and I plan on taking a trip to Clemson and maybe Tennessee, Alabama and South Carolina."
The trip to Oxford was his first.
"I just wanted to learn a lot about Ole Miss. They were one of the first schools who offered me. I have a good relationship with Coach (Chris) Kiffin. He recruits our area for Ole Miss. I really didn't know anything about Ole Miss other than what coach Kiffin has been sharing with me. I brought my parents over there with me to check it out. They wish they could have met coach (Jason) Jones but he wasn't there. They really liked coach (Hugh) Freeze and they thought it was a gorgeous campus. They want me to see as many schools as possible so I can make the best decision for me, but they really liked Ole Miss."
What did Britt personally think of the Rebels?
"I still didn't learn about the school's history, but I plan on it. I've heard some things. The facilities are great there. I think they're about to do some big things at Ole Miss. I liked it a lot."
The 5' 11" projected cornerback did learn one piece of history about Ole Miss.
"They told us how the landshark started on defense. That was really cool. I plan on taking it back to my high school."
What did the Ole Miss coaches say to Brit during the trip?
"They said they really liked my film and want me to be a part of their program. We watched some of their film. They explained how their concepts worked and just about their defensive schemes in general. They have an awesome scheme. That really stood out. I also liked their campus, school and facilities. They are all top notch. I felt comfortable around their coaches, but I would like to go back down there again to get a better feel for it."
Who all has offered?
"Clemson, Duke, Marshall, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech and Ole Miss."
The school closest to offering next received his next visit.
"Georgia told me that they liked my film a lot. They want to come back up there for another visit and keep in correspondence with them. I liked up there. I feel comfortable there. I have visited Georgia multiple times. That is why I am going to take visits to all of these other schools. I want to get a good feel for everyone."
Where will Britt visit next?
"I'm going to Georgia Tech this weekend and then I am taking a trip to Clemson. I might go see Tennessee, Alabama and South Carolina some time in the near future."
Britt had an injury riddles junior season but hopes for more his senior year.
"I came into the season playing running back and cornerback but finished playing safety. I sprained my left ankle one week and my left ankle the next. We did not have any safeties so I went over there to help out. I had four interceptions, but my goal is to stay healthy next year and help my team out a lot more."
