Rugamba Taking Visits

Naperville (Ill.) Central class of 2016 wide receievr Emmanuel Rugamba talks Michigan visit, looks ahead to Iowa State.

Michigan hosted a sophomore receiving some buzz in Illinois, Naperville Central's Emmanuel Rugamba recently and the 6-foot, 170-pound wide receiver says it was a good trip.

"It went really well. I liked it. We went to the basketball game and they showed us around part of the school like the weight room and the facilities for football."

He also got to see the school for more than just spots.

"We talked about some of the things you'd be able to do if you come to Michigan like how education is a huge part of making a college choice."

From here, the Wolverines would like to see him back for summer camp and hopefully before then as well.

"Coach Mallory and Coach Heck they said that I should come back in the spring to watch a few [practices] or the spring game and hopefully they'd have me down there for a work out."

As for schools he is hearing from, Rugamba says "just Iowa State and Michigan for right now."

He visits the Cyclones March 9th.

Even though he can also play corner, he says he is being recruited as a receiver right now.
