Ollison Excited About Transfer

Tymeon Ollison hit the Scout.com radar as a sophomore at Akron Buchtel and he has been a fine player the past few years. He will play his senior season at Canton McKinley, and is already enrolled at his new school.

Canton McKinley is one of the top programs in Ohio, and that was one of the reasons wide receiver Tymeon Ollison has transferred to the school for his senior season.

Ollison, 5-foot-8, 160-pounds, has great speed and quickness and should be a fine slot receiver at McKinley. He is being recruited by several schools and recently visited Michigan State.

"It was awesome being at Michigan State, and I think the program is amazing," Ollison stated. "I was there with Reggie Rogers, and we both loved it up there. They want me to come back for camp, and I'm planning on doing that this summer."

"I felt very comfortable around those coaches and I can relate to those guys," he added. "I could play either wide receiver or cornerback for Michigan State, and I would love to have an offer from them."

Although he holds no offers presently, Ollison is attracting recruiting attention and has heard from a few teams.

"I've heard from Akron, Toledo, Kent State, Duke, Kentucky, Indiana and Arkansas so far," he explained. "I'm still looking for that first offer."

"The transfer to McKinley should let me show my skills better, and help me be more on the recruiting scene," Ollison continued. "I love my new team and they are treating me great at Canton McKinley."

Ollison will probably need to perform at various camps to earn offers, but he has the speed to succeed in today's wide open college game. He is a 2015 prospect of note in Ohio.
