Harris got back to campus with his mother and had a chance to spend extended time with new offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier, a key since a large part of Harris' decision to re-open his recruitment was his relationship with former Wolverine assistant Al Borges.

Summary: Michigan appears to be trending upward with the four-star prospect and the top prospect in the state of Michigan. He had a good visit and his family said they plan to be back again this spring.

Summary: A legacy recruit, Thompson is no lock to the Wolverines as they continue to battle Michigan State, Northwestern and others for him.
Quotable: "At one point Coach Mattison took me into his office and he showed me all of his pictures," Thompson said to Kyle Bogenschutz, "and he had a picture of Ray Lewis when he was coaching the Ravens and he told me in a couple years he wants to have a picture just like it right next to it of me and him, so that was pretty cool."
Class of 2016 | OT | Traverse City West (Mich.)
Summary: The only current in-state sophomore with a Wolverine offer, a commitment from Lukusa seemed like a good possibility. While that didn't happen, the Wolverines remain in strong position and he visits again this weekend.
Quotable: "I had a great time," Lukusa said to Sam Webb afterward. "That was probably the craziest and probably my favorite sporting event by far."
Other notable visitors
- Indianapolis Ben Davis four-star linebacker Asmar Bilal made the trip. He does not have a Wolverine offer yet but does hold a handful of BCS offers. Scout's Anna Hickey spoke to him about his visit.
- Farmington (Mich.) wide receiver Desmond Fitzpatrick is only a sophomore but has three offers and said here that the Wolverines were impressed with the physical gains he has made. He plans to return to Michigan during the spring.
