The nation's No 13 ranked defensive tackle visits the University of Texas and came away impressed. The 6-foot-4, 275-pound standout defender has serious interest in the Longhorns.

Darrion Daniels checks in from Dallas (TX) Bishop Dunne high school. The four star defensive tackle was one of many this weekend to visit Austin.

"Coach [Charlie] Strong is really nice and he is going to make Texas an amazing team once again," Darrion Daniels said. "He said I am a perfect fit for them. My interest in Texas has risen and I can't believe how much they have changed."

What does defensive line coach Chris Rumph and head coach Charlie Strong see in Daniels that makes him such a good fit for the Longhorns?

"I am quick off the ball, I bully and do whatever I want to make the play," Daniels said. As far as his possible relationship with position coach Chris Rumph, "He is amazing."

Daniels is one of the most heavily recruited defensive tackles in America with offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Baylor, California, Colorado, Iowa, Louisville, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Texas to name a few.
