That is his fourth offer in 2014. His first offer came back in 2013 on a special day.
"Virginia Tech was my first offered and they offered me on December 4, my birthday," said Tavares Chase. "That was pretty crazy and exciting."

Then came an offer from the school he grew up watching a lot.
"When Miami offered, that was huge for me. That is a big-time offer because I have liked them since I was a kid.
"I know a lot of their old player, I know a lot about the program, and I like Miami a lot."
UK has jumped into the mix now, and the Wildcats are high on his list with Miami, UCF, and Virginia Tech.
The Plant City, Fla. athlete is being recruited to play on both sides of the ball.
"Some schools like me at wide receiver and some like me at safety," said Chase. "I am OK playing either position. Some days I feel better as a wide receiver and some I feel better as a safety. I like them both."
Chase shined at the MVP Camp in Valdosta, Ga. on February 16 where he was recognized as the No. 2 receiver out of over 60.
He plans to continue to camp and compete to better his game while taking a slow approach with the recruiting process.
"I do not think I will commit early. I just want to take my official visits and take my time. I want to see how schools are academically and athletically first."
