Orlando (Fla) Oak Ridge high school standout close to multiple offers. The 6-foot, 180-pound wide…
Murray doing a little traveling
South Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest, Cincinnati, Akron, Indiana, and more have all offered Nyqwan Murray. On his offer list, one program stands out above the rest. "My favorite is, right now, South Carolina," he said. "I just like how they send players to the league, they have high-profile players, and it's the SEC, the best conference in college." The junior wide receiver plans to visit the South Carolina on March 28th and see more of what the Gamecocks program has to offer. "I'm looking forward to just meeting the coaches, I talked to (running backs) coach (Everette) Sands, he was just saying he wanted me to meet the coaches and talk to (head) coach (Steve) Spurrier," he said. The 6-foot, 180-pound athlete also hopes to check out Duke in the near future, but hasn't nailed down any plans yet. "It's a good academic school, that's all I really know about them," he said. Most recently, the Orlando standout visited Florida for a junior day. He said they haven't offered yet, but he thinks they will soon. "They just said they like how I'm shifty and stuff like that," he said. "That's been my dream school since I came into this world. I grew up a Florida fan, liking Percy Harvin and Chris Leak, then Tim Tebow when he came along." If the Gators offer, it's pretty much a no-brainer for Murray. He'll commit on the spot. "(With) that one, (there's) no thinking," he said. Stay tuned to Scout.com for the latest on Nyqwan Murray and his recruitment.
