Jake Browning is one of the most heavily recruited players in America with offers from school such as Alabama, Boise State, California, Colorado, Utah, Washington and Washington State. Browning talked about the recruiting process.
"It's been an honor but I am somewhat ready to make a decision and just focus on playing football," Jake Browning said. "I have visited Boise State last summer as well as Washington and Washington State. I have also been to California and then most recently Washington again."
"I have only talked to coach [Shaun] Watsons once," Browning said. No real contact besides that but I would be interested."
Had a monstrous 2013 junior season, throwing for a state single-season record 75 TDs and passing for 5,737 yards. Named All-Nor Cal Player of Year, Metro Player of Year by the Sacramento Bee, Gatorade State Player of Year and Maxpreps National Junior Player of the Year and California Division I State Player of the Year. Threw for a Northern California record 5,248 yards and 63 touchdowns as a sophomore to just 16 interceptions in 2012 for Folsom (Calif.). Named a Sophomore All-American.
