West Mesquite (Tx.) 2015 cornerback Josh Butler is one of several Division I FBS prospects at his school, but he's certainly gotten the most attention so far this week.
The 5-foot-10, 163-pound Butler already had double-digit offers entering the week, but has added three programs to his ever-growing offer list during the last two days.
Four of those offers come from the Pac-12, a league that has been active recruiting Butler's teammates: 2015 quarterback Chason Virgil and 2016 cornerback Bailey Phillips. Virgil's Arizona State and UCLA offers are two on his double-digit list, while three of Phillips' four total offers are UCLA, Utah, and Washington State.
In addition to Butler's three offers this week, Virgil and Phillips have received offers from Boise State and Louisiana Tech, respectively.
Butler is a physical, long-limbed cornerback prospect who should continue to see his offer list grow throughout the spring and summer. He won the Defensive Backs MVP at the Next Level Athlete showcase in Dallas in late January.
