Billy McEowen: "130 tackles, 90 solo, 4 sacks and 13 tackles for loss."

What is your official height and weight?

"6-2, 220."

What is your greatest football memory?

"Making a tackle for loss on the goal line against O'Connor."

What are your goals for next year?

"Make 140+ tackles and make all-state."

How are you preparing for next year? What camps will you go to?

"I'm working hard in the weight room at school and I will be at the Arizona and NAU camps for sure."

What have you been working hard to improve on?

"I've been working on improving my speed and coming downhill to stop the run."

Who are some teammates to watch out for?

"Watch out for Jake Skadeland. He's very quick and will be playing linebacker with me this year. I really respect Jacob Moss because he's been working very hard this off season to get better."

What are your goals as far as playing football in college?

"I want to become the leader of the defense in college one day."

What schools are recruiting you? Any offers yet?

"I have no offers yet but I am talking to UofA and Army currently. I would love to stay in state for college because I love Arizona."

What would your top 5 be right now?

"1. UofA, 2.UCLA, 3. NAU, 4. Fort Lewis, 5. Navy."

Name one opponent you really respect.

"I really respect Dedrick Young from Centennial as an opponent because I played with him in Pop Warner and I know his potential."

What are your maxes in the bench, squat, clean and 40?

"I max bench 325, squat 400, power clean 245 and my 40 yard dash is 4.80"

How would your coach describe you as a player?

"My coach would describe me as very hard working and will do whatever is asked of me."

What are your strengths and weaknesses?

"My strength as a player is that I'm strong and can shed blocks easily. My weakness is my pass coverage."

Who is your favorite athlete and why?

"My favorite athlete is Lavonte David because he never takes a play off."

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

"The best piece of advice I've ever received is, ‘anything worth doing is worth overdoing."

What can we expect from Mt. Ridge next year?

"You can expect Mountain Ridge to fight hard and exceed everyone's expectations this year."

What is your GPA and SAT?

"My GPA is 3.8."

What will be your deciding factors when picking a college?
