Davison Doing His Part

Anaheim (Calif.) Servite cornerback Maurice Davison (5-8, 173) has been one of the top cornerbacks in the prep ranks the past two years.

While Davison is still waiting for his first offer, he's diligently doing camps and 7v7.

"I'm just trying to get my name out there more for coaches and show that I can play," said Davison.

Davison said a number of schools have been in contact with him.

"I'm hearing from Boston College, Michigan, Michigan State than Pac-12 schools like USC, UCLA, Colorado and Cal. I'm also hearing from San Diego State," said Davison.

Davison said he thinks two Pac-12 schools could be close to offering.

"I'd say probably Colorado then Cal will offer," said Davison.

Davison had a good day at the Los Angeles NFTC and is doing 7v7 with B2G this spring and Scout.com national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins raved about him at the Passing Down 7v7 last weekend.

"I'm going to do some college camps too and then some coaches said they'll come by in the spring," said Davison.
