Kingsley KeKe A Wanted Man

DE Kingsley KeKe

The defensive line position for head coach Charlie Strong, defensive coordinator Vance Bedford and defensive line coach Chris Rumph is of the utmost importance for the class of 2015. One player they have targeted checks in from Richmond (TX) George Ranch High School.

Kingsley Keke is a three star defensive end from Richmond (TX) George Ranch High School. The 6-foot-4, 280-pound standout defender talks about the Longhorns with Scout.com.

"Its going great right now, Kingsley KeKe said. "It's been really crazy this past month. Offers have been coming fast, two in one day sometime so it's been really crazy."

The Texas staff has put a premium on the defensive line position and KeKe is one they would love to see in the class on National Signing Day.

"I visited Texas about two weeks ago," KeKe said. "I loved it, it was pretty smooth. I like how the coaches are like coach Strong and coach Rumph from Alabama. It was pretty smooth to watch them work. I was also at Texas for junior day and I thought the facilities were amazing. I talked to coach Strong and he likes me and wants me at Texas. Coach Rumph is a great coach and a really cool guy and likes to get after it."

Texas is not the only school recruiting KeKe at a high level.

"Baylor is recruiting me real hard, Texas A&M, Texas and Houston are the four that standout out right now," KeKe said.

KeKe has a few more schools he would like to see before he starts to narrow his search.

"I might go see Florida, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State because I want to see those three," KeKe said. "I like the SEC because they send a lot of people to the league. It's big time football over there and a lot of people look at that. Also, the Big12 is good and I want a team that will help me get better, get me to the league and a great education."
